Managed to get a 40kg barbell over my head and onto my shoulders to squat with in Body Pump today. No help from a rack, just a sturdy posterior chain.

It got me thinking - could I have done this if my priority in training was to get smaller?
The answer is, no I could not!

For all of time, women have been a target of restriction and nowadays it seems we are becoming obsessed with inflicting restriction upon ourselves.

Train and eat not to get smaller, but to be the ๐’”๐’•๐’“๐’๐’๐’ˆ๐’†๐’”๐’• version of you ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

The push/pull training split.
I love a push and pull split with a good mix of both compound and isolation exercises.
Today is โ€˜pull dayโ€™ so we are working the โ€˜pullingโ€™ muscles of the lats, traps, rhomboids, lower back and biceps.
