Hello to my new followers and welcome!

A little about me...

I am Cath England BSc(Hons), PGCE, MAR, Reiki Master and Teacher, CRM5(tutor)
Reflexologist / Duopodist

I have been a qualified teacher since 1998 following the completion of a degree in Maths and PGCE from the University of Birmingham. I taught maths for 9 years, 6 of those as deputy head of a large department, before training at Inspira in 2006/7 to become a highly qualified professional and clinical reflexologist. In 2007 I retired from teaching to become a full time reflexologist with specialisms in Fertility, Maternity, Spinal issues, Stress among others.

I now run a successful clinic within Aberdare town centre. As well as private clients, I have also worked on a voluntary basis within a palliative care setting, with children including at a crèche and other local community based projects providing Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head massage. I am also a reiki master / teacher.

I am also a Level 5 tutor of reflexology/DuoPody and Director of Inspira Academy where students are trained to the highest level available in the UK.

Based in Aberdare which is easily accessible from Cardiff, Swansea and the South Wales valleys. Approximately 10 minutes from the A470 and A465.

Clients seek assistance with a range of conditions from the physical to the emotional, from back pain to stress, menstrual and menopausal problems to sports injuries.

A term that you probably don’t hear very often - Male Menopause.

Also known as andropause or androgen deficiency in the ageing male (ADAM), this term refers to the decline in testosterone levels leading to various physical and emotional symptoms. While testosterone levels do naturally decline with age, the process is gradual, unlike the sudden cessation of hormone production in the female menopause.

Physical: Reduced muscle mass and strength, increased body fat, fatigue, and sleep disturbances.
Emotional: Mood swings, irritability, anxiety, and depression.
Sexual: Decreased libido and other signs
Other: Changes in physical appearance (e.g., hair loss, loss of height), and changes in body metabolism.

I have experience helping males with this change in their life using Reflexology.

🛍️ Christmas Markets open at 12pm – Aberdare Market, Market Street and Commercial Street.

We will be accepting card payments this year.
🐉 Dexter Saves Christmas with Mythic Adventures will be putting on a special show on the main stage and the dragons will be around town for you to have your photos taken with them!
🎶 Acts throughout the day on the MainStage in Canon Street.
🎅 Santa’s will be around town for photo opportunities.
🎶 Live Entertainment all day hosted GTFM online and on DAB – filling Market Street with festive cheer!
🎉 Grand Finale Parade at 5pm through the High Street, finishing with the Christmas Lights Switch-on in Canon Street and then down to the Market!
