❓ Why do we ask questions on Engage Consult?

We know some patients feel there are a lot of questions, but there are only 7 quick questions and they usually take just a few minutes to complete.

These questions help our clinicians:
✔ Understand your symptoms clearly
✔ Assess how urgent your problem may be
✔ Direct you to the right clinician or service first time
✔ Avoid unnecessary appointments when advice or another service may help faster.

Giving good information at the start helps us provide safer, quicker and more accurate care.

📱 If you’re able to use Engage Consult, please do. It also helps keep our phone lines free for patients who are unable to access online services.

✅ Update – We’re Back Up and Running!

Power has now been restored at New Dyce Medical Practice.

Our phones and Engage system are back up and running as normal.

🐣 Getting ready for the Easter holidays? Don’t forget your medication!

If you’re planning a trip away over Easter, make sure you’re prepared:

✔ Order any repeat prescriptions early – and let us know you’re ordering early, otherwise requests may be denied
✔ Check you have enough medication for your whole trip (plus a few extra days just in case)
✔ Check expiry dates on “just in case” medications like inhalers, creams, and EpiPens
✔ Pack medication in your hand luggage if flying

⏰ Remember, pharmacies and GP services may have reduced hours over the holiday period, so leaving requests until the last minute could mean delays.
