It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of James McLean (Jim) aged 81 years, on Wednesday, February 18 after a short stay and brave fight at A.R.I. Loving husband of the late Roberta, adored dad of Kim and James, a dear father in law of Robert, cherished granda of Rachel, Toni, Ryan and Emma, doting great granda of Rae, Esmé and Reuben, dear granda-in-law to Stewart and Dean, a treasured brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to many. Funeral ceremony to be held at Aberdeen crematorium, Hazlehead (East chapel) on Monday, March 2, at 10.30AM. All friends respectfully invited, family flowers only please. James will be greatly missed but his love, kindness and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday, February 15, 2026, Irene aged 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Jim, much loved mum of Diane, special grandma of Laura and Steven and a good friend to many. Funeral ceremony at The Aberdeen Funeral Home, 49 Causewayend (where now resting) on Thursday, February 26 at 2pm. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be given at the chapel door for The British Heart Foundation.
