With patient health and wellbeing central to what we do as a clinic, we are very excited to expand access to our experienced Physiotherapy team and be able to accept BUPA registered patients!

The ReformPhysio & Pilates Physiotherapy team are also registered with Axa, Aviva and Vitality; and now, as a BUPA registered Physiotherapy clinic, it’s easier for members to receive the high quality Physiotherapy care they need with recognised clinical standards and streamlined insurance support.

As the boss, I should probably be unbiased… but after taking Gillian’s reformer classes myself, I can officially say they’ve been an absolute game-changer for ski season ⛷️🔥

Stronger glutes = more power on the slopes.

More core control = better balance and fewer wobbles.

Hip stability = happier knees (especially after long downhill runs).

And let’s not forget the true test of conditioning… surviving après 🍾😂

Ever since that iconic reformer video where Gillian was in full ski gear casually sipping prosecco mid-workout (still not over it), I’ve been fully committed to her classes.

Turns out she wasn’t joking, reformer really is ski prep at its finest.

My legs lasted longer, my turns felt stronger, and I recovered faster between days.

10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to ski hard and still walk into après with dignity.

Racing HYROX as a Physiotherapist gives you a slightly different lens.

When something feels off, the instinct is often to panic or push harder. But as a Physio, we learn to treat symptoms as information, cues that guide smarter decisions, not signs that you’ve failed.

During my first solo HYROX race, when the unexpected happened, this meant adjusting pacing, breaking up work, and changing how I moved so I could keep going safely and confidently.

This is the same skill we build in physiotherapy every day, whether you’re rehabbing an injury or preparing for the demands of a HYROX race.

Performance isn’t always perfect. Adaptability matters more.

There’s so much confusing (and bad) info out there about exercising during pregnancy and postpartum, which is why we love working with coaches who want to be well informed 🙌

The beginning...

reformPhysio & Pilates was launched in January of 2020 by Physiotherapist Laura Patterson. After 15 years working as a Physiotherapist within the NHS and subsequently a large private practice, Laura was keen to strike an improved balance between work and family life whilst continuing to provide excellence in Physiotherapy care. Thus reformPhysio & Pilates came to be.
