Competing at Hyrox Glasgow this weekend?
As a Physiotherapist working with athletes and having completed many endurance events myself, here's my top tips for anyone taking part in an event:
🍐Food-Eat enough and eat well. You will need the fuel to ensure your body has enough energy for the challenge
💦Fluids-And plenty of them. Good hydration is essential for a successful and injury free event
😣Focus-On yourself. It can be so busy, competitive, noisy. But remember why you're there and what YOUR goal is
😄Fun- Take a breath, take it all in and enjoy the process.
