February Wellbeing Tip: “Stop Over-Apologising”

If you catch yourself apologising for things that aren’t your fault — taking up space, having needs, asking questions, saying no — pause and try this instead:

Replace - “Sorry for bothering you”
with
“Thank you for your time.”

Replace - “Sorry, I know I’m being difficult”
with
“I’m advocating for what I need.”

Small language shifts create big emotional changes.
Your voice matters — and you don’t have to shrink to be accepted.
