A NEW YEAR. A NEW SEASON. WE ARE BACK! 🏁⚽

The wait is finally over! Fat Fives Football has returned for Season 10, and we couldn't have asked for a more dramatic start to 2026.

The weather gods certainly put us to the test with horizontal rain and gale-force winds, but it took more than a storm to dampen the spirit of the lads. It was incredible to see everyone back on the pitch, shaking off the winter break and clinical as ever in front of goal. 🌪️

SEASON 10 HAS OFFICIALLY BLOWN US AWAY! 🏁🌪️

We didn't just kick off a new year; we stormed right into it! Despite horizontal rain and gale-force winds, the Fat Fives Football family showed up in force to whisk away those winter blues. The energy on the pitch (and the scales!) is electric for Season 10. The journey to a legendary 2026 starts now! ⬇️

The results this week have set the stage for an exciting season!

• O.B City had a thunderous win over Rapid Viennetta with a score of 11-3

• Scrandinavia walked away with a perfect 9 points

• Parmesan Belgrade and Rapid Viennetta didn't secure a single win in the deluge

• Ivory Toast managed to scrape 6 points with two gritty 2-1 victories

Scrandinavia sent a massive message with a perfect 9-point haul! The league standings see Scrandinavia at the top with 9 points, followed by O.B City, Bayern Bru, Fatburn Rovers, and Ivory Toast all on 6 points (in that order based on goal difference). Flaberdeen sits on 3 points, while Parmesan Belgrade and Rapid Viennetta are both at 0, with Parmesan Belgrade above on goal difference.

We’ve had a complete refresh of players across all the teams, making this one of our most anticipated seasons yet. Whether you're a familiar face or one of our many new signings, there’s nothing quite like that opening day feeling: the drama, the camaraderie, and the incredible energy of getting back on the turf! 🏟️✨

We are buzzing to see the matches unfold, but even more excited to see everyone kick-start their weight loss journey for the upcoming year. This is where the hard work starts and the goals (on and off the pitch) begin to fall.

With over 900kg already lost across our amazing community, let’s keep that momentum rolling and make this season our most explosive one yet! 💪🥗

Another successful week at Fat Fives Football with new players attending our Fat Fives Football - Come and Play Session on Friday. Some fantastic feedback from the new comers and a fantastic turn out from all our members 👍👏🎉

First session complete with the lads for the new year, cold conditions but plenty of football on display as the guys look to start their new year off with a bang. Plenty of new year resolutions for weight loss and fitness improvements mentioned last night and we'll be here to help them every step of the way 🎊👏💪

Delighted to have been invited by The Kickabout Aberdeen - TKA to participate in a charity tournament this morning, raising food bags for CFINE alongside Ferryhill Afc and Mugiemoss FC with support from 5ives Football Aberdeen.

Fantastic way to start the weekend, huge amount of donations raised and great atmosphere contributed by all who attended.

Delighted to say our boys did us proud by winning the tournament after a close final with TKA Red team! 🏆👏🎊 Fantastic effort from the lads who managed to shake off the cobwebs after attending our Fat Fives Football Xmas Night out last night! Well Done lads 👏👏

TKA can’t thank everyone enough for coming along this morning to for our Christmas tournament . We had over 54 bags of food taken by everyone and these will be dropped off to next week . We can’t thank Scott at 5ives enough for hosting us
The winning team on the day was Fat Five’s who beat TKA in the final . But the real winners will be families of Aberdeen who the food will help them out at a tough time in the year
