All of our staff regularly undertake training and continuing professional development courses in order to provide a high standard of care for all their patients. The practice offers a complete preventative care programme
Our experience shows that a preventative approach to dentistry is recommended with regular check-up appointments, scaling and polishing of the teeth and early diagnosis and treatment of oral and dental disease. This is the approach fostered by Denplan and we feel that subscribing to Denplan Care within the practice will ensure the best service to our patients that our team can provide to you. Further information on Denplan Care can be obtained from any member of the practice team. Patients of the practice can also receive treatment on a private “pay-as-you-go” basis. We continue to provide treatment under the National Health Service for children up to the age of 18 years. Our practice oral hygienists provide periodontal treatment for patients. This includes scaling and polishing of the teeth, preventative care and advice to demonstrate efficient tooth brushing, flossing and other cleansing techniques to help patients in looking after their teeth and gums. Additionally, where appropriate, our hygienists can provide fissure sealants for children upon their molar teeth to further help prevent tooth decay. Treatments available at the practice:

Mission Christmas 2025 box has arrived.
All the staff here are taking part in this years mission Christmas for the 3rd year, there are still so many children living in poverty and many at great risk of waking up on Christmas morning with no gifts to open because Christmas is a luxury some parents can’t afford.
We would like to try and make a difference by involving all our patients, why not drop off a gift at you next appt or even just pop in past, every donation will be greatfully recieved and bring some happiness to children and young adults across the north east.
Together we can make this year bigger and better than last, below is a suggested list of things that can be donated to our box in reception: also a huge thanks to all that have donated so far

Mission Christmas 2024

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL OUR PATIENTS ATTENDING THE PRACTICE NEXT WEEK-

The practice is having roof repairs done, this means we will have scaffolding outside the front entrance of the building.

We ask that ALL patients attending use our BACK DOOR entrance, this is from the Waverly place side, to ensure everybody's safety.

The Team at Henderson & Hardy decided this year that we would like to donate gifts to CASH FOR KIDS MISSION CHRISTMAS. Our team did so well filling boxes of toys and gifts for all different age ranges, here is our Head Dental nurse Lyndsey and Senior Dental Nurse Jade dropping the gifts off to MISSION HQ.

Visiting mission HQ was a real eye opener and also a sad reality, cash for kids still need gifts for 1707 people (and this number will rise again) the majority of those being age 9-18 years. If you are out and about shopping and pick up an extra gift, there are various drop offs around Aberdeen and shire to donate your gift. The last day for drop off is MONDAY 18TH of December if you would like to get involved.

Next Year we are planning to become a drop off location so that we can get our patients involved in mission Christmas!

As we are our approaching the end of 2023, we would like to wish all our patients a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with best wishes for 2024! We appreciate you all and are very grateful for your continued support throughout the year.

Dear All Patients,
As some of you may be aware our Dentist Lorraine Hardy broke her shoulder 4 weeks ago, she is recovering now and resting up. We are getting round to re- appointing upcoming appointments. Please be patient with us as we are trying our best to re-appoint everyone.
In the meantime, if you do have an emergency, we have the other two dentists covering Lorraine’s emergencies at present, so do not hesitate to contact us.
We are wishing Lorraine a speedy recovery and hoping to welcome her back soon!
