We’re proud to share a conversation with our Policy & External Relations Manager, Ewan Carmichael, featured in the latest edition of Quest.

Ewan is a passionate advocate who brings his lived experience as an autistic person into his work every day, helping to ensure the voices of people supported by Quarriers are heard by decision makers.

From speaking with government to working alongside services and communities, his role is all about influencing change and creating more inclusive policies.

At Quarriers, we believe lived experience matters and Ewan’s work is a powerful example of that in action.

• One-to-one “What Matters to Me” conversations
• Expert advice from the NHS Grampian Chronic Pain Management Team
• Opportunities to speak with health and social care professionals
• Information from voluntary organisations and local services
• Practical tools and strategies for managing pain
• Peer support and connection
Whether newly diagnosed or living with chronic pain for many years, this event aims to provide helpful information and supportive conversations.
