Friday nights = sparring nights 💥🥋

This year we kicked off a new tradition and it’s fast become a favourite!
Ninjas – Ninja of the Ring 🥊
Tigers – Tiger of the Ring 🐯
Cobras & Warriors – Master of the Mats 🔥

These sessions are all about pushing that little bit further, testing skills, building confidence and levelling up Kumite. The competitiveness, focus and determination that comes out on a Friday night is brilliant to see 👊

And of course, every class ends with the obligatory sweaty selfie with the Senseis 😅📸

🤼‍♀️ Grappling our way into the festive season! 🤼‍♀️

This month’s badge was Grappling and as it was the last badge of the year we wanted to finish on something really fun. As you can see, it was smiles all round for our Dragons and Ninjas!

⚡ Staying safe. Staying smart. Staying aware. ⚡

Last night’s interactive Self-Protection & Self-Awareness seminar at Mindsparx Karate Academy was informative and enjoyable for our participants 🙌✨

We chatted about their worries, needs and expectations, then got hands-on with understanding adrenaline, key safety stats, awareness and early recognition, simple safe responses, age-appropriate physical skills and even online/social media safety 📱⚠️

Our Mindsparx Crucial Crew smashed it and hopefully took some knowledge and skills away with them 💥🥋

What a weekend for our K-Club squad down in Manchester! 🥋⚡️

Our final tournament of the year: the Manchester Youth Open Karate Championships, and what a way to wrap up a very busy season of travel, training and teamwork! 💥

Sunday’s results were brilliant:

🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉 🥉 6 Bronze
Across Kata, Kumite and Kickmaster!

Our K-Club fighters gave it everything and represented the club with champion spirit.

Massive well done to all who stepped on the mat, you made your Senseis and coaches very proud! 💜🙌
