Honouring the Memory of Peter Jack

​It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Jack.

​Peter was a well-known face in our community, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In keeping with his direct and humble nature, Peter requested an unattended cremation, which has now taken place.

​While there will be no formal service, we know many of you will wish to pause and remember him in your own way.

We sadly announce the sudden passing of Przemysław Kukla.

The family have arranged an online fundraiser to help cover the unexpected costs of the funeral and repatriation at this difficult time.

Antonio & David would like to thank everyone who attended the service for their much loved dad Tony Da Silva.

They would also like to thank Lynne Mitchell, Civil Celebrant for her comforting service and Iain Struthers Photography for all his help and for recording the service at Aberfeldy Town Hall.

Helen Rose Sanford (Rose) (née Hodgson), beloved wife of the late Ian Cameron de Sales La Terrière died unexpectedly on 4th March 2026 aged 78. A wonderful mother to Rory (dec’d), Hugh and Robert, stepmother to James, Fiona, Michael and Peter. Grandmother to 12 and great grandmother to 3. She will be greatly missed. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place at 2pm on 27th March at All Saints Church, Kinloch Rannoch. No Flowers please and donations to Fire Fighters Charity.

The Bereavement Journey

Our friends at Pitlochry Baptist Church would like to share something really worthwhile for anyone who may be struggling with loss.

The Bereavement Journey is a 7 week course which is designed to support people who have experienced the loss of a loved one whether recently or some time ago.

Grief is deeply personal and can come and go at different times, often when you least expect it.

The Bereavement Journey provides a gentle, supportive space with short films followed by open discussion which can really make sense of grief and help you move forward. Talking out loud with people who can sympathise and understand what you're going through is truly helpful and reminds you that you're not alone in what you are feeling. That said, there is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.

The course will run on Monday evenings from 7pm-9pm commencing Monday 20th April 2026 for 7 weeks at Pitlochry Baptist Church.

​Peacefully at Mains of Murthly Farm, Aberfeldy, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, aged 90, John, beloved husband of Pam (nee Taylor). Much loved father of Andrew, Niall and Calum, father-in-law of Nicky and the late Catriona. Grandad to Anna, Morris, Tom, Harry, Joe, Eddie and Matt.
Funeral service at Weem Parish Church, on Tuesday, March 3, at 11 am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to RSABI.
All welcome.
