I have a passion for supporting people of all ages to lead healthier, happier lives through nutritional therapy, but I have a particular interest in supporting neurodiverse children and their families. I'm a mum to a wonderfully unique and neurodiverse son, and feel that because I'm walking that walk myself, I'm able to offer support and a better sense of understanding to families that may be feeling a little overwhelmed.

🔥 Inflammation & Weight Gain – The Hidden Link ⚖️

Inflammation isn’t always harmful - it’s a vital part of your immune system, designed to protect the body and support healing when you’re injured or fighting infection, but when it becomes chronic (thanks to stress, poor diet, lack of sleep), it can trigger insulin resistance, fat storage, and stubborn weight gain.

👉 And here’s the kicker: inflammation can cause weight gain, and weight gain causes inflammation.

✨ The good news is that you can break free from this vicious cycle. Reducing inflammation through simple diet & lifestyle changes can help your body feel better, move better … and yes, loosen that waistband too.

🌿 Top ways to lower inflammation:

🍔 Reduce junk food, added sugar and alcohol.
🥬 Eat a rainbow of colourful, anti-inflammatory fruit and veggies.
🛌 Prioritise getting enough sleep .... ideally 7 - 8 hours.

🙋🏼‍♀️ LET ME RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF

If you’re new here ….. I’m Charlotte, a Nutritional Therapist based in Aberlour, Scotland, and I’m all about helping people feel better in their bodies using simple, naturopathic food and lifestyle changes. 🌿

I’m especially passionate about helping people build a healthy, relaxed relationship with food, because eating really should add enjoyment and nourishment to your life - not a whole lot of stress.

I’m currently studying health coaching to improve how I support my clients, and I’m absolutely loving it!

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me outdoors with the dog, making the most of the beautiful forests, rivers, and beaches that make living in this part of the world so special. 🌲🌊🐕

In my spare time, I’m a very enthusiastic member of a local choir - despite always having to mime the top notes. 🙈

I’m also a ho**er … but before you jump to conclusions, I mean I’m totally addicted to crocheting. 🧶

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our last workshop - Quiet the Food Noise. The feedback was amazing, and it was so lovely to see the support and connection in the room. 💛

Many of you requested more workshops - especially around chronic pain, inflammation, gut health, and menopause - and I’m really excited to share that the first in a new series of four events is coming soon to The Gather’n, in Aberlour.

🌿 Relieve Pain & Inflammation Naturally

This 90-minute workshop will explore the link between inflammation, chronic pain, energy, weight, and overall wellbeing. We’ll look at common root causes and, most importantly, practical, natural ways to support relief.

The session blends Nutritional Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), gentle meditation (including progressive muscle relaxation) - and of course, my usual chat. 😊
