We are so proud to share some news — Thomas and Brown Funeral Care is growing! Our family business has now expanded into Brynmawr, and you can find us at our new home on 27 Beaufort Street.
As a local, family-run business, we understand just how important it is to have caring, familiar faces around you during such a difficult time. We take great pride in supporting local families with compassion, dignity, and genuine understanding.
Our Brynmawr home is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm, and we also offer a 24-hour call-out service, so we’re always here when you need us.

Recently we have seen a rise in requests for direct cremation services, and we thought it may be useful to know that your local independent funeral director can provide such services, often at a lower price than the big online companies seen on TV. They may even be able to offer additional services to you that these larger companies cannot provide.

Here at Thomas and Brown Funeral Care our unattended direct cremation with a personal touch package costs £1250 with no additional hidden charges, and guarantees that the cremation itself will take place at a local crematorium, unlike larger companies that may convey your loved one hundreds of miles away from their home.

Your loved one will be kept at our funeral home either in blaina or in brynmawr until time for the cremation to take place, where you will also be able to visit with them in our chapel of rest as often as you wish. ❤️
