The Health Board request that surgery staff undertake staff training and for us to be able to do so , the surgery will be closing early at 12pm on the following dates:

⛪️📍Cyfle Cymru supports people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training and adults 25+ who are long-term unemployed, economically inactive and face challenges with mental health and/or substance use. Our support is flexible and person-centred and can include one-to-one support, confidence and life skills development, wellbeing support, volunteering opportunities and support towards training, education or employment.📍

Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day, and you're warmly invited to join us at Gorwelion (Llanbadarn Road, Aberystwyth, SY23 1HB) anytime between 10:30am and 2:30pm.

Come along for a friendly chat and explore the wide range of resources and support available for mental health and wellbeing.

💉 COVID-19 Vaccination Programme 💉

COVID-19 vaccination is an important part of protecting yourself if you're at increased risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccines are offered because viruses change and protection fades over time. It's important to top up your protection if you're eligible.

Getting the COVID-19 vaccine can:

🩺help reduce your risk of getting severe symptoms
🩺help you recover more quickly if you catch COVID-19
🩺help reduce your risk of having to go to hospital or dying from COVID-19
🩺protect against different types of COVID-19 virus.

People eligible for the COVID-19 Spring vaccine in Wales include:

👤adults aged 75 years and over
👤residents in a care home for older adults
👤individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed.

If you are eligible you will receive a vaccination appointment letter/text or phone call either from us or the health board

The clinic dates at Church Surgery are as follows: 30/04/2025 and 07/05/2025
