Today, on Mother’s Day, we pause to honour the women whose love shapes our lives in ways that never fade. πŸ’

For many, today is filled with flowers, cards, and warm embraces. For others, it may be a quieter day, one of reflection, remembrance, and holding close the memories of a mother who is dearly missed.

At our funeral home, we are thinking especially of those who are remembering their mums today. May the memories you hold bring comfort, and may you feel surrounded by the love she gave so freely.

To all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures, thank you for the care, strength, and compassion you bring to the world. And to those remembering a beloved mum today, we hold you in our thoughts. 🀍

🌿 Grief Walk & Talk 🌿

Last night we held our very first Grief Walk & Talk, and it was truly special.

A small group of us came together for a gentle one-hour walk, sharing stories, listening, and supporting one another. Some people talked, some simply walked and listened, and both were perfectly okay. It was a reminder that grief can feel a little lighter when we walk alongside others who understand. πŸ’™

We would love for you to join us at our next walk.

πŸ“… Tuesday 7th April 2026

You Are Not Alone β€” Even on the Hard Days

Join us on TUESDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2026 at Clayton Community Centre - BB5 5NR

Grief can be a difficult journey, and sometimes we are hardest on ourselves.

We may feel like we’re going backwards just because we’ve had a bad day… But the truth is β€” bad days are part of healing, not a sign of failure.

At Hyndburn Bereavement Support Group, we offer a safe, friendly space to:

✨ Talk (or simply listen)
✨ Share with others who understand
✨ Focus on the positives and progress we often forget
✨ Learn to be kinder to ourselves through grief

You are warmly welcome, exactly as you are.

πŸ“ Session starts at 1:30pm
β˜• Includes a brew break and supportive discussion

If you’d like to join us or find out more, please get in touch.

Because you deserve compassion β€” especially from yourself. πŸ’›
