🎉Why go out and party to bring in the New Year ...when you can Party in the comfort of your own home, feet up, picky food, a cold drink, and watching movies 🎬! Fabulous afternoon making a New Years Eve "Buffet Tea" with Masterchef ! ( along with a few caramel shortbreads consumed throughout the preparations 😆)

Even after all these years, my first thoughts on Christmas morning are always my Ellerbeck Family & I ring round checking in on everyone!

THANKYOU SO MUCH to all the families that send over Christmas Day selfies 😆 It warms my cockles you lot are having such a fabulous day - especially with the Sherry Trifles!

🎅 🎶 One of my Favourite parts of Christmas is when me & Master Chef scrap the Planner, & head out for our Annual Christmas Meal Evening.. & sing our socks off to Christmas songs in the car! 😆

More Christmas Trees up, & a couple of new lovelies have joined our Ellerbeck family, taking me to full capacity 😊
And what a productive day today!! Meeting with our Ray of Sunshine Kiera first thing to check in & bounce ideas for January!
All Admin cleared ..& another outfit ticked off 😉

What a Quacking Week this has been!! Ive gone from a Elf to a Turkey...to...Santa Paws & thrown in a Christmas Duck to the mix (&earrings & socks may I add!)

Ive brought the festivities on every visit, put up Christmas Trees..sang Christmas Songs from 'yonder year' in the showers & done a few Christmas Quizs...& on one, sat with someone to Pray.

The outfits have been a bonus, & brought many smiles & quite a few "Come in quick let me see what you've got on today !!"

Next Week...Rudolph & Snowmen make an appearance! 😄
Its never a dull day ! 😉 ❤️

🎅 ⛄️ ❄️ IT'S ALMOST THAT TIME !!!!

The Burgundy 'Uniform' goes back in the wardrobe for 31 Days of Ridiculous Jumpers & outfits throughout December!

Why...you may ask? 🤔

Over the years it has been an absoloute hit & there really is method in my madness....
For many, who suffer with Alzheimers/ Dementia/ Korsakoffs, sadly, memory spans can be very limited, ....but yet its these ones I do it for.

They may not remember from just a few minutes ago...but the first thing they call when I bounce through the door on each visit " Let me see your outfit!!"
Hence proving that this small change, triggers their memories, the details of my outfits, & for many, a reminder of the time of year, in a somewhat confusing haze of what date it is, or the time of year.
It brings smiles, (lots of laughter!) And something to look forward to every day.
That's my why right there ☝️

Great Staff in this declining Care World are hard to find... & thats why we invited our Ray of Sunshine Kiera, & her Boyfriend to be our Guests at the Gala Dinner✨ as a little Thankyou️!
An oppurtunity to be pampered, put on our posh frocks, enjoy a 3 course dinner... albeit I was the designated driver...much fun & dancing was had by all !
( As promised Ive took a TON of photos & videos to show everyone on our Visits this week!) 🤗
