We have Sarah from SARAH HALL - Sports Injury & Pilates here at the clinic tomorrow, she teaches some of her Pilates classes in the exercise room and also does her assessments and treatments in the clinic room.
She teaches Clinical Pilates and has done all her training with APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) so is perfect for our multitherapy clinic.

Also at the clinic tomorrow is George Ampat, Consultant Orthopeadic Surgeon seeing his clients.

It's going to be a very busy day with these two in the clinic!

🦶🚶‍♀️🦶 Foot Scanner 🦶🚶‍♀️🦶

We are so lucky here at the clinic to have a high tech Aetrex foot scanner.

We've seen a huge increase recently in the amount of clients coming to the clinic to use the scanner so we wanted to share on social media a bit more information about this service.

The Aetrex foot scanner is extremely safe and easy to use. When you arrive for your appointment one of our experienced therapists will ask you some questions about your feet and any problems you are experiencing. They will then ask you to remove you shoes and will examine your foot and ankle to look for any issues that may need resolving. It is then time for you to have your feet scanner, this involves stepping on to the scanner with one foot and then repeating on the other side. You will then be asked to stand with both feet on the scanner.

After the examination we will see an image of your foot and the pressure points of your foot on the computer, this will show us exactly which orthotics will be most appropriate for your feet. We have hundreds of orthotics here at the clinic so something for every foot posture.

Did you know 👀 we do foot scanning?

We have the Aetrex Technology at our clinic here in Ainsdale. This is a great set up and very easy for clients to have their feet scanned.

One of our experienced therapists will guide you through the whole process which will take approximately 10minutes. You will have to take your shoes off to use the scanner but you will keep socks on. You will then be asked to walk over the scanner and then to stand on the scanner for a few moments.

Results from your scan are immediate and will show us if orthotics may benefit you. If they are recommended, we stock all orthotics at the clinic so can help you fit them straight away.
