Walter passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 13th December 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Today, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible bravery, sacrifice and dedication of all those who have served and continue to serve our country.

We remember the men and women who gave their lives in the pursuit of peace and freedom, those who never returned home and those who came back forever changed.

Their courage, resilience and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we observe this day of remembrance, may we all take time to honour their memory, express our gratitude and ensure that their legacy lives on in our hearts and actions.
