In many cultures a twitching eye is thought to predict the future.
In parts of China a left eye twitch = good luck 🍀 and a right eye twitch = bad luck 😬
In other places it's the opposite.
Reality check 💁🏻‍♂️ : it's usually just a tiny muscle spasm (often from tiredness, stress or caffeine)

Red eyes in photos occur when the camera flash reflects off the retina, illuminating the blood vessels at the back of the eye. The darker the surroundings, the more the pupils open, increasing the likelihood of red-eye when the flash is used!
