Advanced Children’s Physiotherapy is tailor made for babies, infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of developmental, neurological, and orthopaedic conditions.

Hello, I am Amina Power, Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist and Clinical Director of ALP Advanced Children’s Physiotherapy. I love my job and I love seeing my patients doing well.

From my clinic at Alcester Health Centre I provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for babies, infants, children, and adolescents with various movement disorders, developmental delays, and physical impairments. I treat children of all ages, from newborns to young adults, optimise physical development, functional ability, and overall well-being.

My approach focuses on children as a whole person, not only the condition to be treated, and work tirelessly to enable them to achieve their full potential and have the very best quality of life.

Through early intervention and ongoing therapy, advanced paediatric physiotherapists play a vital role in helping children achieve their maximum physical potential, improve their quality of life, and participate fully in activities at home, school, and in the community.

I understand how difficult life can be for these babies and children and their families. Early, expert, timely intervention is so important in their physiotherapy care. I find it incredibly rewarding to facilitate their progression, being part of their developmental journey and enabling them to receive the support that they need.
