The annual ball really does remind me why Slimming World is so blinking awesome.
I watched all of our competition winners walk onto the stage in their slimmer, healthier bodies, and I was privileged to see a video about each and every one of their ‘before’ stories. Their reasons for joining a group are the same ones I hear from you guys every single week—from achey joints and needing surgery, to struggling to breathe or climb stairs, missing out on family fun, and wanting to be around for years to come with their children and loved ones.
The stunning Woman of the Year said she didn’t feel like herself anymore—she found herself hiding and shying away from living the life she and her family deserved. And Kenny, our Greatest Loser, having shed over 22st 8lbs, has gone from spending £140 a week on takeaways to completely transforming how he feels about food… and now he’s running 5Ks 😍
As always, there were tears of joy and sorrow at an event like this—but boy oh boy, the atmosphere was electric!
We watched a gorgeous tribute video all about Margaret and the incredible opportunity she gave us by starting Slimming World 56 years ago. Her legacy is sure to live on in the hearts of every consultant—I’m so positive about that. I’ve shared a video of the standing ovation she received, even though she can no longer be with us in person ❤️

This post is just to remind you ALL that anything is possible—with commitment to yourselves, and the support and love of me and every other member who truly ‘gets it’ in our Alcester Slimming World groups.
Let’s make these next 7 weeks really count. Let’s make 2026 a year all about health, happiness, and being bloody proud of everything we achieve ❤️
