How to stop stress eating at night

Struggle with over eating or raiding the biscuit cupboard at night?

It’s not just about ‘lack of willpower’, evening stress eating usually comes down to a few common things:
‱ Not eating enough earlier in the day
‱ Long gaps between meals
‱ Stress building up throughout the day
‱ Mental fatigue by the evening

Don’t rely on willpower in the evening, help yourself through the day.

Small changes during the day can make a big difference to your evening.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

Read that again.

Not your body.
Not your mindset.
Not your habits.
Not your life.

You say you want more confidence, more energy, more discipline and a better lifestyle.

But you keep choosing the comforts of the same excuses and the same patterns you do everyday.

Change won’t just naturally happen, it comes from the decisions YOU make.

Life doesn’t take ages to change, you can change in a matter of weeks, even days.

Dieting is hard and it also comes with sacrifices.

It isn’t complicated but it is sometimes uncomfortable.

It requires structure and consistency and once you nail the routine of it, it becomes easy.

Don’t chase the quick fixes as you won’t last. The results you want come from habits done consistently.

I’ve been doing these movements on my lower days for the past six years and I still love them because they work for me.

Must add I also love a single leg RDL

Training isn’t about changing your program every few weeks or following the latest workout you see on insta. It’s about doing the basics and staying consistent.

Over time, you figure out what movements work for you, then you don’t abandon them, you stay consistent with them.

Eat clean in the week but ‘fall off’ at the weekend?

If your weekdays look like đŸ“đŸ„ŠđŸ„ŻđŸ„©đŸ„Źâ˜•ïžđŸ« then overload on đŸ”đŸŸđŸ•đŸ§đŸ„‚đŸ»đŸȘ at the weekend.

Then you say to yourself “I can’t lose weight”, “Im broken”, “somethings wrong with me”

Imma tell you the truth 
you ain’t broken and nothing is up with you.

You don’t have balance.

Try working on having a week of đŸ“đŸ•đŸ„ŠđŸȘđŸ«đŸ” which is accounted for within your calories and see the results follow.

I’m not throwing shade on these foods either but if you want to lose weight and hit your goals you have to be in a calorie deficit and using your weekly calories just at weekends may not work.

Life is about balance and this is exactly what I’m here for.

The only way you’re actively going to lose weight is if you’re in a calorie deficit.

If you’re not in one, you’re not going to lose weight.
It’s as simple as that.

But being in a calorie deficit doesn’t mean the scales will always go down.

So please measure more than just your weight I.e. weekly photos and measurements.

Even if you’re following your plan perfectly, some days the scale will fluctuate.

Which could be down to poor sleep, stress, water retention, ate a little later than usual, bloated or your hormones.

This is completely normal.

And if/when it happens, don’t freak out. Keep sticking to the plan and watch the progress happen.
