Week 2 completed

The update nobody asked for…

Another 1kg dropped this week.
Current weight 68.4kg

Cycle due in 3 days so I’m holding some water and just feeling a bit meh with my photos and just in general, however we keep pushing forward and manage this week.

Calories kept the same this week as we don’t want to run me into the ground when I’m due on. So come next week there will be another drop in calories 👀

I REALLY need to work on how wonky I am. Clearly my left scapular isn’t happy.

The body you want comes from ticking the daily boxes and not overcomplicating it.

Training.
Steps.
Calories.
Water.
Sleep.

Entering week 2- calories down and cardio upped

Cardio- 300 calories x 3

Managed Easter weekend of not giving into the chocolate that I was surrounded by 🙃

Ready for this big drop in calories and to smash another week.

Most people struggle to prioritise themselves.

You can’t expect different results while continuing to put yourself last.

At some point, you’ve got to choose yourself.

At the beginning of my career I didn’t prioritise myself.

I’d always put other things first - clients, work and everything else.

It’s only in the last couple of years this has changed.

Now, I make it a priority.

I make sure I look after myself through my training, my nutrition, and my mindset.

When I take care of myself, I show up better in everything I do.

This isn’t about being selfish.

It’s about understanding that you can’t pour from an empty cup and if MY cup is empty I can’t help my clients the way I want to.

Trying to look ‘perfect’?

You probably haven’t done enough of the hard work to be worrying about perfect yet.

You’re currently focused on:
The “best” plan
The “perfect” macros
The “optimal” workouts

But you’re not even consistent with the daily basics.

It’s about:
Being on plan on the days when you don’t feel like it.
Hitting and sticking to your calories when it’s inconvenient (socials plans)
Training when you’re tired and just can’t be bothered.

That’s what actually gets results.

Forget perfect.

Do the work most people avoid.

Day 1 - 8 weeks out from my photoshoot 📸🔥

This off-season has been seriously productive, especially for my quad growth - easily one of my best improvements.

I’ve stayed consistent with my food plan week in, week out, with planned off-plan meals on weekends (with numerous brownies, pastries and a few holidays) hehehehe.

I genuinely think that balance has helped me maintain a solid look without gaining lots of unnecessary fat.
That’s what we want, stay in a good place throughout so the cut isn’t extreme and too hard.

There are going to be tough days… low energy, low mood, and moments where I cba. But thats part of the process and honestly, I’m here for it. It’s a privilege to be able to do this, so there won’t be any complaints from me as I’ve chosen to do this.

I’ll be documenting the full 8 weeks - weekly check-ins, daily updates, the highs, the lows, and my mood swings 😂

Let’s see if we can bring the abs back in time 👀
