At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.
The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11am on 11 November 1918.
Armistice is Latin for to stand (still) arms.

Remembrance Day is dedicated to honouring and remembering all those who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict, from the great wars to modern-day operations. This includes not only those who have gone before us and made the ultimate sacrifice, but also those who are still with us and continue to be affected by the physical and mental scars of war.

The first 20 visitors will receive a free swag bag, and those with high blood pressure will also receive a complimentary blood pressure monitor if they are registered with an Aldershot GP.
