If anyone has any problems joining (issues, then please email Andrew Randall our Membership Secretary, who will respond as soon as he is able, at the following email address:

Use of the system is going very well, as we went live at midnight last night and 45 have already joined up.

Please note:
New members will not be able to access the fisheries to have a look round before 1st April as they have in previous seasons, as they will not have keys, and the combi-locks that we are changing to for next season will only be put in place on 31st March , when all fisheries are closed for the day.

There will be a planned 'power outage' at Alice Holt Forest on Tuesday 27 January. Therefore, the site will be closed. There will be no access to the car park or Lodge Pond and both the Visitor Centre and Café will be closed. The main gate will not open.

No anglers may be onsite from 9:00pm on the evening of Monday 26 January.

The gates will re-open at approximately 9:00am on Wednesday 28 January..

Thank you for your help with this matter.

Lodge Pond

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th January 2026
Between 8:30am - 11:30am

This coming weekend there will be Cani X racing at Alice Holt Forest, which will involve dogs and their owners running around the forest at Alice Holt.

We have just been advised that there will be around 50 participants both mornings taking part in a running event with their dogs. They will be starting, and running along the Family Cycle Trail, which is the route used by members driving toward the car park at Lodge Pond.

As such, you will need to be even more carful than normal when accessing and egressing the car park and cars will need to drive very slowly, and when you see dogs or runners, stop until both dogs and runners have passed, before recommencing your journey.

So please ensure you are extremely careful when visiting the pond this coming weekend.

Maintenance work - Sindlesham Mill - Closed by the Environment Agency with immediate effect

Temporary repairs are essential and are due to be arranged by the Environment Agency as they have deemed the bridge unsafe.

The fishery will remain closed until the EA has completed their works, which we anticipate will be completed within the 6-weeks.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our members and will advise once the fishery is re-opened in due course.
