💙 A great FREE event for people with learning disabilities and carers is happening in Ripley this Thursday – and SENDisco will be there too!
📅 Thursday 5th March
🕐 1pm – 4pm
📍 Ripley Leisure Centre
The event is for people with learning disabilities and their carers and there will be lots of helpful support available including:
✔️ Optional height, weight and blood pressure checks
✔️ Advice from doctors and nurses about staying healthy
✔️ Information about health checks and cancer screening
✔️ Lots of support organisations and information stalls
If you’re coming along, make sure you pop over and say hello to the SENDisco team – we’d love to meet you!

We’ll be there this Saturday (7th March) from 10am–2pm chatting to families and sharing information about everything we offer at SENDisco CIC.

🚨 First Aid Training Opportunity 🚨
We’re looking at organising a Paediatric & Adult First Aid course on Thursday 19th March (short notice – we know!).
💷 Cost: £26 per person
☕ Tea & biscuits provided
🥪 Please bring your own lunch

This would be a great opportunity for parents, carers, PAs and anyone supporting children or adults with additional needs to refresh or gain first aid knowledge in a supportive setting.

Yesterday’s SENDisco Sensory Swim was a FULL HOUSE 🌊💙
And what a session it was!
Laughter echoing round the pool.
Inflatables everywhere.
Relaxed lighting.
Music playing.
Smiles from ear to ear.
These sessions are more than just a swim. They’re a safe space to splash, play, move freely and just be yourself without pressure or judgement. Seeing everyone so relaxed and having fun is exactly why we do this 🫶
If you don’t want to miss the next one… keep your eyes peeled for the booking drop date 👀
Spaces always go quickly and we’d hate for anyone to miss out.
Thank you to every family who came along and made it such a brilliant session 💙

A supportive, fun swim session designed especially for our SEN families 💙
✨ Relaxed lighting

✨ Inflatables & pool toys
✨ Calm, welcoming atmosphere
✨ Just £4 per swimmer
Whether your child loves to splash, float, play or simply enjoy the water at their own pace, this session gives everyone space to feel comfortable and confident 🌊

Ive had alot of people ask me where I bought these Mine craft Magnetic blocks from.
These were from an Instagram post is saw for Mine blocks but ive seen Amazon do lots of different ones
Toylogy and Click-blocks seem to be the best rated
Word of warning 100pc starter set sounds alot of pieces , but it isn't!!
