Suddenly but peacefully at Strathcarron Hospice on Saturday 4th April 2026.
Josie aged 58 years sadly passed away.
Beloved mum, devoted gran, great gran and a dear friend to many.
Josie will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Josie’s funeral service will take place at Stirlingshire Crematorium on Tuesday 21st April 2026 at 10.30am.

Dear friends, our collaegues at Stirlingshire Crematorium are holding an open day on Monday 13 April. All are welcome to this event, where appropriate please accept their invitation to attend.

Upcoming Open Day – Join Us

We are pleased to announce that we will be opening our doors on Monday 13 April 2026 at 10.30am – 3.30pm and we warmly invite you all to join us.

Come along and enjoy a wee cup of tea and get the chance to see how we operate here at site. You will have the opportunity to walk round our beautiful gardens, see where we hold your personal and meaningful services.

For those who are interested in what happens behind our scenes, there will also be a chance to visit the crematory.

Our team will be on hand to chat and guide you through your visit, we will be happy to help with any questions and queries.

🐣Easter Egg Collection…….

A fantastic total of 98 Easter Eggs were collected this year.
Paul from the team, will kindly deliver these to Forth Valley Children’s Ward, just in time for Easter break.

Ronald Aitken

Ronald passed away peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert on Monday 16th March 2026, aged 77 years.

Beloved husband of Delores.

Loving and much-loved Dad of Steven, father-in-law to Audrey.

Dearly loved brother of James, William, David, Janet, Ann and Margaret and the late Betty, late Ellen, late Alec, late George and late Alan, all remembered with love by all the Aitken family.

Ronald was a loving pops and uncle of the family.
Ronald will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Maureen Hunter

Maureen, aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Labert on Tuesday 3rd March 2026.

Loving and much-loved mum of Mhairi, mother-in-law of Malky. A devoted gran of Iain, Gemma, Liam, Chloe and Ryan, dearly loved great gran of Skyla, Kaisey, Aaleyah and Blake.

A good friend to all who knew her, Maureen will be sadly missed.

A service celebrating Maureen’s life will take place at Clackmannan Parish Church on Monday 16th March at 12 noon.
To which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

This will be followed by a private cremation at Maureen’s request.

Family flowers only please, donations may be given at the service in Maureen’s memory for Lochies School, Sauchie, thank you.
