We are a local Independent Funeral Director, established in 2007, based in Sauchie, Alloa. We provide a personal service 365 days a year 24 hours a day.

Maureen Hunter

Maureen, aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Labert on Tuesday 3rd March 2026.

Loving and much-loved mum of Mhairi, mother-in-law of Malky. A devoted gran of Iain, Gemma, Liam, Chloe and Ryan, dearly loved great gran of Skyla, Kaisey, Aaleyah and Blake.

A good friend to all who knew her, Maureen will be sadly missed.

A service celebrating Maureen’s life will take place at Clackmannan Parish Church on Monday 16th March at 12 noon.
To which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

This will be followed by a private cremation at Maureen’s request.

Family flowers only please, donations may be given at the service in Maureen’s memory for Lochies School, Sauchie, thank you.

Tony Thornton

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Monday 23rd February 2026.
Tony sadly passed away, aged 82 years.
Beloved husband of Peggy. Much loved dad to Alan and Scott, father-in-law to Suzanne and Sarah.
Devoted grandad to Daniel, Sean, Cerys, Ziggy and great grandad to Wren.
A dear friend to many in the church and the local bowling club. Tony will be sadly missed by all.

Tony’s funeral service will take place at Tillicoultry Parish Church on Thursday 12th March 2026 at 2.00pm.
To which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited Followed by a private cremation.

There will be a retiral offering on the day in lieu of flowers for the ongoing work for the Guide Dogs a charity close to Tony and Peggy for years thank You.

Robert aged 84 years, passed away at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert on Wednesday 4th February 2026.
Loving and much-loved husband of Jean.

A dear father-in-law to Lorraine and Gary.
A proud and loving papa of Stephanie, Robbie, Gregor, Layla, Lilly
and Claire and Mitchell, Jamie, Molly, Kai and Sophia. Dearly loved brother of Eleanor.

Robert was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed all who knew him.

Anne-Marie Leckie.

Peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Saturday 21st February 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Anne-Marie sadly passed away, aged 53 years.

Devoted mum to Kayleigh and mother-in-law to John. Treasured granny to Chloe, Logan and Lexi. Beloved partner of John. Dearly loved daughter of John and the late Anne. A much-loved sister to Sindy, Tracey and sister-in-law to Stuart. An adored auntie to “The Boys” John, Mark, Aaron and their families, a dear niece, cousin,friend and not forgetting a cat mum to her wee Teddy boy.
Anne -Marie will be sadly missed by all.

Anne-Marie’s funeral service will take place at Stirlingshire Crematorium on Wednesday 11th March 2026 at 12noon.

“Val”

Val passed peacefully at Clackmannan Community Hospital on Thursday 12th February 2026, aged 89 years.

Dearly loved dad of Drew and the late Matthew.
Father-in-law of Kay and Fiona.
A devoted and loving grandad of all the family.
A good friend to all who knew him, Val will be sadly missed.

At Val’s request a private family service will take place at Stirlingshire Crematorium.
Following this a memorial service in celebration of Val’s life will take place at Alva Parish Church on Thursday 26 February at 9.45.
Thereafter to Alva Cemetery for interment.

To which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.
Family flowers only please, donations may be given at the church service in Val’s memory for The Gurkha Welfare Trust, a charity close to Val and the family.

Katrina Binnie

Suddenly and unexpectedly at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, with her loving family by her side on Sunday 25th January 2026. Katrina aged 34 years, peacefully passed away.

Loving fiancé and best friend to Danny. Beloved daughter of Avril and the late William. Treasured sister to Marc, Angie and the late Karen. Much loved granddaughter, auntie, cousin and a wonderful friend to many.

Katrina’s may have left this world far too early, but she left behind warmth, kindness and a lasting impression that will never be forgotten in all those she loved.

Katrina’s funeral service will take place at Alloa Town Hall on Thursday 19th February 2026, at 11.00am, thereafter to Sunnyside Cemetery, to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.

Joe sadly passed away, aged 76 years.
