Hillview Funeral Services We are a local Independent Funeral Director, established in 2007, based in Sauchie, Alloa. We provide a personal service 365 days a year 24 hours a day.

“Val”

Val passed peacefully at Clackmannan Community Hospital on Thursday 12th February 2026, aged 89 years.

Dearly loved dad of Drew and the late Matthew.
Father-in-law of Kay and Fiona.
A devoted and loving grandad of all the family.
A good friend to all who knew him, Val will be sadly missed.

At Val’s request a private family service will take place at Stirlingshire Crematorium.
Following this a memorial service in celebration of Val’s life will take place at Alva Parish Church on Thursday 26 February at 9.45.
Thereafter to Alva Cemetery for interment.

To which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.
Family flowers only please, donations may be given at the church service in Val’s memory for The Gurkha Welfare Trust, a charity close to Val and the family.

Lorraine passed away peacefully at home in Clackmannan surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 8th February 2026, aged 65 years.
Beloved wife of Tommy.
Loving and much-loved mum of Alyson and Emma.
A devoted and dearly loved gran of the family.
A good friend to many, Lorraine will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Katrina Binnie

Suddenly and unexpectedly at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, with her loving family by her side on Sunday 25th January 2026. Katrina aged 34 years, peacefully passed away.

Loving fiancé and best friend to Danny. Beloved daughter of Avril and the late William. Treasured sister to Marc, Angie and the late Karen. Much loved granddaughter, auntie, cousin and a wonderful friend to many.

Katrina’s may have left this world far too early, but she left behind warmth, kindness and a lasting impression that will never be forgotten in all those she loved.

Katrina’s funeral service will take place at Alloa Town Hall on Thursday 19th February 2026, at 11.00am, thereafter to Sunnyside Cemetery, to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.

Linda aged 65 years, passed away at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, on Tuesday 3rd February 2026.
Beloved wife of the late John. Devoted mum of Donna, Kerryanne, Cheryl and Mandy, mother in law to Gordon, Alex and Steven. Treasured Gran to Ellie and Lochlan.

Linda was a great friend and was loved by many, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Muriel sadly passed away suddenly but peacefully at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, with her loving family by her side on Saturday 3rd January 2026, aged 78 years.

Devoted and much-loved wife of Sam. Loving mum to Muriel, Andrew and mother-in-law to Zandra. Treasured nana to Holly, Kian, Kaitlyn and Brandon.
Cherished sister to Moira and Margaret, a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and a wonderful friend to many.

Muriel was a childminder in Clackmannanshire for many years, although she had her own grandchildren she was know and loved as Nana to many.

Muriel was a kind, loving and caring woman, although she is gone we can still feel her love and warmth around us.

Muriel’s funeral service will take place at Dunmar House on Wednesday 21st January 2026 at 11.00am, thereafter to Tullibody Cemetery, to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.
