Aimey started her care journey at the age of 17, she has stepped into a role that some of our more experienced support workers found challenging. Her natural empathy, resilience and ability to bring fun into everyday routines reminds us that compassion is not about age or years of service - it's about heart.

🎲🐉 Our First Dungeons & Dragons Group Session! 🐉🎲
What an amazing start to our brand new Dungeons & Dragons group! For our very first meeting, our brave adventurers didn’t waste any time — we jumped straight into battle with a horde of skeletons! 💀⚔️
There were dramatic dice rolls, clever thinking, plenty of laughs, and some heroic (and slightly chaotic!) moments along the way. From spell casting to sword swinging, everyone got stuck in and showed fantastic teamwork and imagination.
It was brilliant to see confidence grow as the session went on, with each player really embracing their character and the adventure. We’re so proud of how everyone supported each other and brought the story to life.
We can’t wait to see where the quest takes us next… 🗺️✨

We are excited to announce that Flourish is launching a brand new, Dungeons and Dragons group as part of our inclusive interactions programme.
Running every Thursday, this group will offer a fun. Imaginative and welcoming space where people can connect, build confidence and enjoy shared storytelling adventures together. Whether you are a seasoned player or completely new to the world of Dungeons and Dragons, everyone is welcome.
At Flourish, we believe inclusion means creating opportunities for creativity, friendship and belonging - and we can't wait to see the adventures begin!

After nearly thirteen years,
It’s time to say goodbye,
To Lesley — our steady hand,
Our calm and caring guide.
A wealth of knowledge shared so freely,
Reassurance every day,
A true team player through and through
In every single way.
We’ll never quite forget the day
She grabbed a client’s door —
And somehow pulled the handle off…
We laughed for evermore!
Or when, mid-blether and deep in chat,
Not watching where she stood,
She stepped into a basin of water —
And carried on as if she should!
Lesley, you’ve been the heart of us,
With kindness at your core.
You’ll be so missed by staff and clients
As you walk through retirement’s door.

£12.90 per hour, paid mileage , paid annual leave and pension contributions, uniform

The successful candidates will join our friendly team and provide high level of care and support to our clients in Stirling.

Support Workers will be required to support people living at home with personal care, meal preparation, daily living tasks and a variety of other tasks such as support to access the community or attend appointments.

You should be able to engage fully with the people receiving support with a caring and professional approach.

Essential for this position:

The ability to maintain high standards of care and support in service users’ homes.

The desire and commitment to support others and to deliver the highest level of care is essential.

Willingness to undertake induction and ongoing training

Willing to join the PVG scheme

Willing to register with the SSSC within 3 months of employment commencing

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to undertake Membership of the PVG scheme. We will support you to do this.
