Don’t scroll past this post thinking it’s for people with stiff joints… It’s for those without!
Prevention is better than cure, so although you may have no joint issues at the moment, you never know when they could creep up on you.
But there are things you can be doing now to prevent future joint issues, especially as we come into Spring and find ourselves moving more (hopefully!).
💙 Low-impact: Swap some high-impact pavement pounding for a swim or a brisk walk on the soft sands of Druridge Bay. It’s easier on the cartilage.
💙 Use your joints wisely: Use larger, stronger joints for lifting (e.g., carrying bags on forearms instead of hands) and avoid staying in one position too long.
💙 Anti-inflammatory fuel: Northumberland has some incredible local produce! Incorporate Omega-3s and colourful veggies to help keep systemic inflammation down.
