Today, we were proud to join our community in coming together to honour those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Our mother–daughter duo, Melanie and Emma walked with Alsager Tangent, while Emma’s son also joined for his first parade with his Beavers group — three generations coming together to remember. A touching moment that reflects the values at the heart of our independent funeral directors.

The gathering at the Cenotaph and the service that followed were moving moments of reflection and gratitude, showing the true spirit of Alsager: united, respectful and full of heart.

As Baby Loss Awareness Week closes, we join in the global Wave of Light 🕯️ on 15th October to remember the babies no longer with us.

Our own Emma donated her wedding dress to Cherished Gowns UK, where it was transformed into outfits for babies lost too soon - a beautiful gesture of remembrance.

We honour their memory and support families affected by this profound loss. 🕯️

At such difficult times, families deserve the utmost care, professionalism, and dignity. Sadly, without proper regulation of our industry, there are still providers operating without oversight.

That’s why we are proud to be members of SAIF independent funeral directors (The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors) — meaning we are bound by a strict code of practice, independently inspected, and fully committed to the highest standards of care.

Our most recent independent inspection highlighted no concerns, a reflection of the standards we maintain every day, giving families peace of mind that their loved ones will always be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.

While we continue to wait for long overdue government regulation of the funeral profession, we encourage families to look for funeral directors who are members of SAIF or NAFD, so you can be assured of safe, professional care at every step.

Designed with care and consideration, these vehicles offer enhanced accessibility, a more natural seating arrangement, and a refined, comfortable environment for families. Moving away from the traditional stretch limousine, our new limousines create a more connected and dignified space for loved ones to travel together.
