Patient Notice: Appointment Attendance and Cancellations

We are committed to providing timely care for all our patients. Recently, we have seen an increase in Did Not Attend (DNA) rates, where patients miss appointments without informing us. Missed appointments mean longer waiting times and reduce availability for others who need care.
• If you no longer require your appointment, please cancel as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to another patient.
• Cancellations can be made by phone, online, or via our app (if applicable).
Non-attendance may affect your ability to book future appointments due to availability.

Your cooperation helps us improve access and ensures everyone receives the care they need. Thank you for your support in reducing DNA rates.

Effective immediately, patients who are experiencing flu-like symptoms will be asked to wear a face mask when attending our surgery.

This measure has been introduced in response to the current high levels of flu and other respiratory illnesses affecting both patients and staff.

This is a temporary, risk-based precaution put in place to protect our patients, colleagues, and the continuity of our services.

Wearing a face mask (where clinically safe to do so) helps protect vulnerable individuals and reduces transmission during this period of increased illness. We therefore strongly recommend that all visitors and patients wear a mask when attending our surgeries.

Please also remember that regular handwashing or the use of hand sanitiser is an effective way to prevent the spread of viruses.

We appreciate the cooperation and support in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone who uses our services.

Please be aware that we may have reduced capacity if staff members are unwell.
