Timperley Nursing Home Timperley is a dementia and nursing care home, purpose built in 2009 in the Cheshire village of Timperley.

It has won many awards including the Trafford Dementia Kite Mark Award, Dignity in Care Award and the North-west End of Life Care Award.

We were delighted to welcome Woodlands Day Nursery for a special Easter visit this week! 🌸
The children had great fun taking part in an Easter egg hunt, meeting the Easter Bunny, and decorating bunny biscuits alongside our residents.
Our residents also made hats and baskets for the children, which made it extra special.
It was so lovely to see two generations coming together, sharing smiles, laughter, and such special moments 💛💜

What a wonderful time we had at our last Social Tea ☕🎩
It was a fantastic with everyone bringing their own unique style and flair. We enjoyed a fun quiz all about hats, their history, and different types — and a big well done to Gerald and his family, who got the most correct answers! 👏
There were plenty of lovely cakes to go around 🍰 and even better conversation. It was so nice to sit together, chat, and learn something new while sharing a few laughs.

Our residents have been getting wonderfully creative again this Easter season! 🌸🐣
This time during arts and crafts session we decorated our bedroom doors with beautiful Easter egg wreaths and prepared some decorations for our little Easter tree.
Well done to our talented residents for making our home feel extra special this season! 💜

We had such a lovely visit to Broomwood Primary School for their Easter tea 🐣
We enjoyed delicious cupcakes and warm drinks, and the children truly made the day special with their spectacular choir performance. Their singing was absolutely beautiful!
It was also so thoughtful of the children to give our residents a small Easter gift — such a kind gesture.
Thank you to everyone at Broomwood for such a warm and joyful afternoon. We really appreciate the time and care you shared with us 💜

We are looking forward to a lovely visit from the children from Woodlands Day Nursery so our residents got busy creating some wonderful Easter hats for them to wear 🐣🎩
Let’s just say… it turned into a bit of a challenge—we needed at least 17 hats! But with teamwork, creativity, and a lot of laughter, we think we’ve done pretty well 😊
At one point it honestly felt less like arts and crafts and more like a full-on production warehouse… 🤣
Thank you to our helpers to make this possible! You are a star ⭐️
A brilliant effort all around—we can’t wait to see the children wearing them!

For we took part in fun and interactive activities, including quizzes and crossword puzzles, helping everyone learn more about keeping our teeth and gums healthy.

One of the highlights was our egg experiment.
Did you know that eggshells are rich in calcium, just like our teeth? We covered some eggs with fluoride toothpaste and placed them in different liquids such as Coke and vinegar.
This experiment helped show how toothpaste can help protect teeth. We noticed that vinegar had the strongest effect, showing how some substances can be more damaging to our teeth than others.

A great week of learning, fun, and raising awareness about oral health! 😊🥚🪥🦷
