We loved taking some time out this week to focus on staff well-being — because when we look after ourselves, everything else flows a little easier. 😊
We invited the lovely Melanie At Templespa to treat our team to a mini spa experience. 🌿
From soothing facials to calming aromatherapy, her amazing Temple Spa products helped create the perfect space to unwind. Soft music, relaxing scents and a peaceful atmosphere… it was exactly what we needed.
Every moment felt restorative, and it reminded us how important it is to pause, breathe and reconnect with ourselves. Your body and mind truly are a temple. 🧘‍♀️🌿
What our team said about the session?
“The treatments were incredible. I didn’t want it to end!”
“A wonderful break for the mind. Thank you for organising this.”
We’re proud to support Mental Health Awareness and grateful for a team that deserves every bit of care. 💜

Timperley Care Home and Four Oaks Care Home, part of Kingsley Healthcare Group, were honoured to sponsor the recent Altrincham Football match ⚽🏟️.
Our Operations Director, Pauline Parker-Moor, had the privilege of presenting Altrincham FC player Kahrel Reddin with his Player of the Match award 🏅 following another excellent performance.
As part of our sponsorship, four of our residents joined us for the match-day event on Saturday 15th November, when Altrincham FC played Brackley Town Football Club —another team proudly represented by our sister home Brackley Care Home. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with excitement, community spirit, and shared passion for the game 💜🙌.

We were delighted to take two of our residents, Eric and Mike, whose long-standing involvement in football made the day especially meaningful. Eric dedicated over 40 years of his career to ⚽, working as a scout and contributing greatly to the sport.
Mike also has an extraordinary legacy within local football. He spent 21 years working with County on the commission board 🏆 and served as a referee for 45 years, officiating countless matches and supporting others as a referee tutor. Over the years, he held every major role—secretary, treasurer, and president—and remains a truly beloved figure in local football ❤️. After the match, he shared:

“The atmosphere was fantastic. It felt good to be back at a match—once football’s in your blood, it never leaves.”

We are also thrilled to have received a team-signed Altrincham FC football 🖊️⚽, which has brought great excitement to our residents.
It was an exceptional day filled with pride and enjoyment—made even better with Altrincham FC securing a 2–1 victory 🥳🎉.
We look forward to continuing our support for both teams within the Kingsley Healthcare family 💜.
Creating meaningful experiences for our residents, together.

We recently marked BBC Children in Need for its beautiful and meaningful purpose. 💛💜
To recognise the day, we enjoyed a little baking session — our residents baked biscuits in the morning and decorated them in the afternoon. They turned them into the cutest Pudsey bear biscuits! 🐻✨
A lovely way to spend the day… warm, cozy, and full of smiles.

For , our wonderful residents prepared something truly special.💜They made bracelets for each other and heartfelt cards filled with kind words for our amazing staff and their loved ones — beautifully shared by Brenda. 😊
We also created kindness gift packs with a poem, chocolate treat 🍫, and a crochet heart donated by the Silk Elephant Charity as part of their inspiring Give & Share simple act of kindness movement. 💕 Some were shared with Broomwood Community Centre where we met two lovely ladies who will help pass them on to others. A big thank-you to Jill for helping spread kindness far and wide- not even the bad weather could stop us! 🌷

We were thrilled to recently welcome a special visitor for our resident, Eric Mullender. David Clayton, the author currently working on a new book about Football Club, stopped by to interview Eric about his remarkable career and memories with the club.

As many of you know, Eric proudly served as scout for Manchester City for over 40 years, witnessing first-hand the club’s incredible journey through decades of change and success.
David was keen to hear Eric’s memories and insights from his long career with the club — stories that bring to life the people, passion, and dedication behind Manchester City’s rich history.
We’re so proud to see Eric’s contribution to football history being recognized and can’t wait to read more about his experiences in David’s upcoming book! ⚽💙

We marked 🌺 with a meaningful craft session, creating beautiful wreaths for our doors decorated with red poppies — a heartfelt symbol of remembrance.
Our reception area was also thoughtfully decorated, providing a peaceful space for reflection and gratitude as we honoured those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”

“Remember, remember the Fifth of November…” 🔥✨
The night lit up with crackling flames, laughter, and the glow of our traditional Guy Fawkes watching over it all. The air was filled with the scent of slow-cooked pork and apple sauce, the sweetness of sticky toffee pudding, and marshmallows toasted to perfection.☺️Strawberries dipped in melted chocolate and mugs of hot chocolate topped with mini marshmallows kept everyone cozy 🍫
A big thank you to our talented singer for setting the perfect tone for the evening — a night of warmth, good company, and classic Bonfire Night spirit.🎇🎆

🌿 All Saints’ Day Service of Remembrance 🌿

Yesterday, we held a special All Saints’ Day church service at our care home to honor and remember our dear residents who have passed away.

Father Stephen Dunton from Parish of Timperley, Christ Church and Holy Cross led a beautiful service, reminding us to “take a moment to remember and honor the souls who have departed from this world.”
It was lovely to see families and friends join us as we lit candles and placed wooden hearts with personal messages on our remembrance tree — a touching way to keep our loved one’s memories alive.

We truly hope this beautiful tradition continues every year. It’s a heartfelt way to bring comfort, connection, and remembrance to all of us.💜
