Love our patients!

This is Margaret. She has spoiled us on waaay too many occasions with BAGS and BAGS of Gregg's treats and numerous boxes of these Lakeland shortbread whirls. 🤎🍩🧁🍬🍪

She sadly lost her beloved golden retriever a while back, so now carries delicious doggy treats in her pockets whenever she is about town, which brings her a lot of pleasure.

This time we set to spoil her with this lovely bag of her favourite golden retrievers- size to match her current bag!! 😄
True to colours, when she came in, it was with another box of the Optician's favourites! 🥹🤎

How Ambleside Opticians met Cumbrian wrestling 🤎

A belated huge thank you to Janet Moss for inviting me to the opening of her exhibition inspired by Cumbrian wrestling at the Florence Art Centre, Egremont.

She wanted a new pair of glasses for her big occasion. Her brief was ''something bold, which would took the attention away from her.''
Well - I think we met the brief, as so many of her friends told us her glasses looked amazing on her!

The opening of the exhibition started with a demonstration of Cumbrian wrestling. Doesn't her art capture the movement beautifully?

Sorry this is belated, but I wanted to say a BIG thank you to all four of my wonderful patients for all this love and appreciation they showered me with!

2 boxes of Ferrero Rocher, shortbread biscuits which I love, and the cheeriest sunflowers all in the space of a week. I have been so overwhelmed 🥹🥰❤
