It's a brand new 2026 and it comes with a degree of introspection.

I was also questioning whether I had done enough, or whether Ambleside Opticians had made a positive enough contribution to the community we serve over 2025?

Then I came across this recent letter from one of the consultants at the eye clinic at Westmorland General, who had taken the time to let me know that I was doing good. Not just once, but a second time in a letter dating back to 2020.

Why do we allocate so much time to our eye examinations? 😎

Well, Ambleside Opticians have always made our patients' eye health and wellbeing our first priority, and that means we allow exactly the time it takes for the most comprehensive assessment we can give.
