As a photographer, Andy Hayes doesn't just need an office, he needs somewhere that helps spark his creativity.

Here's what he had to say about his experience of using our co-working facilities:

"Finding Kelsick Grammar has been an amazingly positive experience for me.

I come down from the North Lakes a couple of times a week. Being in such a vibrant, fun and beautiful space is the perfect boost I need for the creative projects I’m involved with.

From the friendly smile as you walk in the door to the on-tap coffee, truly lovely people and a comfortable and bright co-working area, it is everything you could possibly need for a productive and happy day.

The location is spectacular, with easy parking and a brilliant cafe on site. For the outdoorsy amongst us, the location is perfect for getting out at the end of the day for a run, swim or walk; it’s all on the doorstep.

I simply couldn’t recommend it any more highly."

Less than a month to go until our Spring Bop, and local band Common Ground have already been putting the venue through its paces ahead of the big night. 🎶

Expect a feel-good evening packed with brilliant live music, great food and plenty of fundraising fun - all in support of a fantastic local cause.

Common Ground will be bringing their own original twist to a brilliant mix of covers from artists including Queen, Blur, The Killers, U2, Robbie Williams, Prince, Biffy Clyro, Elbow and Republica. And once the band wraps up, there will be a disco to keep the party going.

Alongside the music, there’ll be a bar open all night, delicious pizza from Love Pizza and raffle prizes to be won throughout the evening.

All proceeds will go to Impact Aid, helping to fund an annual holiday for disadvantaged and vulnerable Cumbrian children, giving them enriching experiences and some much-needed respite.

So gather your friends, bring your dancing shoes, and join us for a night full of fun, feel-good energy and fundraising for a really special cause. 🫶

Are your leadership team looking for somewhere to spark ideas and chat strategy? We recently welcomed Michael McGregor - Director of Wordsworth Trust and his team to our Loughrigg meeting room and here's what he had to say about their visit.

“We use Kelsick Grammar’s Loughrigg Room for our senior management away days at Wordsworth Grasmere, and it’s such a great space for us. It’s close enough to be really convenient, but gives us that bit of distance from site which helps us properly step back, think clearly and focus on strategy.

The room is spacious, comfortable and really well equipped, and the views are just incredible. What really makes the experience though is the team - they’re always so welcoming, helpful and attentive. Everything, from the facilities to the catering, is high quality and thoughtfully done.”

Join us at Ambleside Parish Centre on Saturday 16th May 2026 from 7pm for live music from fantastic local band - Common Ground. The bar will be open all night plus there will be a pizza van and raffle prizes to be won throughout the night!
