• Stem bolts working loose
• Impacts or bumps
• General wear over time

It’s a quick fix when caught early — but a big safety issue if ignored.

If anything feels off at the front of your bike, pop in and we’ll check it for you.

🔧 Step one: the initial clean.

Before we carry out a detailed service, we remove the worst of the dirt and grime.

Why?

Because you can’t properly inspect components when they’re covered in mud.

Clean parts = accurate adjustments = better results.

The difference even at this stage is noticeable.

🚲 This one came in ready for a Silver Service.

Mud, grit and winter riding slowly wear parts down — even if the bike still “works”.

Before we even begin adjustments, it needs:
• Proper cleaning
• Drivetrain inspection
• Brake and gear checks

This is why regular servicing makes such a difference — it’s not just about fixing, it’s about preserving.

💡 Bike Tip of the Week

If your gears are slow or hesitant when changing, don’t force the shifter.

Continuing to push can stretch cables or damage components.

It’s usually a sign the bike needs a simple adjustment — something a service will sort quickly.
