If you have a prescription to collect, have had a text message to say your prescription is ready, can you please collect from the pharmacy as our retrieval area is overflowing and this makes it very difficult for the team to locate your medication swiftly. This causes delays. Thank you for your understanding.

Our pharmacy can offer you a free NHS consultation and free medication for some common ailments……no need to make an appointment with your GP.

In Amlwch pharmacy we offer the Urinary Tract Infection service.

If you think you have a uti infection and you are a woman/girl aged 16 to 64 and are not pregnant or breastfeeding, call in to see us. A urine sample will be required.

If positive for a urine infection, the pharmacist can give you the same medication you would receive from your GP. They can also give you advice and direct you for other medical help, if required.

Here in Amlwch Pharmacy we offer the Sore Throat Test and Treat service.

Our pharmacists can give you antibiotics which you would receive from a Doctor, if you test positive for a bacterial infection after taking a throat swab. Not all sore throats require antibiotics.

If you need help with a sore throat and if you have a child aged 5 years and over who is presenting with a sore throat, give us a call and we will see if we can fit you into our calendar.
