Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year – perhaps more than ever before – it’s vital we take some time to reflect, and to be there for others. The Office for National Statistics has found that, over the past year, the rates of adults and children experiencing depression has more than doubled. From burnout to anxiety, stress, bereavement, loneliness and isolation, we've all faced immense challenges, and it’s taking its toll. Please feel free to share this post to help support a local business like mine. This has been a particularly difficult time for many of us struggling with the change and uncertainties of late. I am open once more to take clients on face to face again, and want to reassure you that all possible measures have been taken to make my counselling room as safe as possible.
