A private Occupational Therapy Consultancy based in Hampshire, but working across the UK, providing a range of services to help people who have sustained injury, or loss of roles and routines through ill mental and/or physical health.

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities – a day to champion inclusion and accessibility.

Occupational therapists play a vital part in making that vision real. They work alongside people to identify what’s making participation harder and find practical ways forward – whether that means adapting environments, introducing supportive strategies, or building approaches that fit individual needs.

This is where OTs make a real difference: enabling people to do the everyday things that bring connection, purpose and wellbeing.

🌟 MHFAider Day — 12 November 2025 🌟
On 12 November, we celebrate Mental Health First Aiders across the UK — the people who step up, listen, act, and support others with care and courage. This year, we shine a light on the ripple effect of care — how one caring conversation can have far-reaching impact across teams, communities and lives. MHFA Portal
👉 Whether you’ve been on the receiving end or the giving end of support, you know how powerful it is to feel heard and understood.

This , we’re proud to celebrate the learners we’ve trained – making a difference one conversation at a time.

One recent learner KMA trained fedback: Thank you for the delivering the course over the last two days. I learnt so much more from the experience, the pace was perfect and never felt rushed and we were given enough time to discuss each topic.

Shelley Cooper, KMA Clinical Operations Manager/Consultant OT and MHFA Trainer says: During the training I love that we normalise and encourage conversations about mental health. It is great to build people’s confidence in it being ok to have these conversations. In every group it is evident how much mental health impacts lives and the importance of talking about it in a safe and informed way. We are helping break down the stigma and fear that makes these conversations so difficult in the first place.

We’d love to hear your MHFAider® story – share why you became an MHFAider and what it’s meant to you. Let’s amplify the ripple effect of kindness, empathy, and human connection. Every act of care matters — and together, we make mental health support a norm, not an exception.

As we near the end of OT Week, KMA celebrate all things OT.
We are eager to join in spreading the message that Occupational Therapy is key in prevention and moving care closer to home. OT support at the right time can enable people to stay well for longer and prevent problems before they escalate.

OT Week 2025 is here!

This week, we’re celebrating the power of occupational therapy to help people stay well for longer and avoid crises – especially when they get the right support, at the right time.

To build a proactive, prevention-focused system, occupational therapy must be central to future planning and investment. Together, we can show how access to OT at the right time changes lives.

Here’s how to get involved:
• share stories that show how your service supports early intervention (tag us and use and )
• start local conversations with colleagues and leaders about how OT reduces pressure on services
• use the campaign messaging in your reports or meetings to highlight the value of prevention.

Let’s make this the biggest yet and shine a light on the incredible work OTs do every day. 💚

This annual event is a reminder of the importance of mental wellbeing and the need to prioritise and invest in good mental health.

This year’s theme is ‘access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies’. The theme highlights the importance of people being able to protect their mental health in times of global instability.

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK (12-18 May 2025). The theme for 2025 is ‘COMMUNITY’, highlighting the importance of community in supporting mental health and wellbeing.

We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities remind us we are not alone. Our community can provide us with a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times and hive us a sense of purpose.

A community can be people who live nearby, friends, those with shared interests, beliefs or identities. Some come together in physical spaces, workplaces or neighbourhoods, others happen online in social media groups or online forums.

Some of our clients tell us that being part of a community empowers them to make their lives feel more meaningful and enjoyable, helping them feel happier and improving their mental health.

Look at The Mental Health Foundation’s website for more information about how to get involved in your community

Earth Day 2025 and Occupational Therapy share a common goal of promoting health, well-being, and sustainable living. Occupational therapists support individuals in leading meaningful, balanced lives, and Earth Day emphasises environmental responsibility—both essential for a healthier planet and population. By encouraging eco-friendly practices in daily routines, workspaces, and communities, occupational therapy can contribute to environmental sustainability while enhancing clients' quality of life.
