Introducing Elise Vaughan; She joined Hallmark in July 2024 as a Carer, and progressed quickly into the role of IPC Lead, before being promoted to Senior Carer in May 2025.

Elise won Outstanding Team Member of the Year 2025 at Angmering Grange, and was a nominee for the Hallmark awards. She is also the only team member to receive Team Member of the Month while still in her probation period.

Alongside her role, she is also studying a specialised course in understanding the autism spectrum, covering its history, neurological factors, communication approaches, sensory needs, and mental health. This area is deeply personal to her, as two of her children are autistic.

Elise's inspiration comes from her nanny Sonya who she helps care for when she's not at work.

Our residents made the most of yesterday’s brief burst of sunshine by refilling the bird feeders and putting together and installing our new bird box. We even came across an old bird nest! The fresh air and vitamin D really lifted everyone’s spirits ☀️

Introducing Luis Vieira, one of our wonderful receptionists here at Angmering Grange.

Luis has been with us for just over two years and is often the first friendly face to welcome everyone who comes through our doors. The best part of his role is interacting with and helping our residents, something he does with warmth and care every day.

Fun fact: Before joining Angmering Grange, Luis worked in security at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.
