It’s been a while ❤️
A lot has happened in the last two years ⏳
I had a heart attack after catching Covid and had to have a stent fitted. This wasn’t as big of a disaster as I first thought. I now know that I have super narrow arteries which is genetic. If I didn’t get Covid and Myocarditis I would never have known 🍀🍀🍀
Thank you Universe 🪐 🪐🪐
Quietly and slowly I’ve been rebuilding myself back to full health. Lots of dark sad times but for anyone going through it in life, I am living proof that beautiful times return. This is my new little Grandaughter Nova - Rae ✨
Chilling on Boxing Day and still in my P.J’s…just perfect!!
Sending love to you all! Xx

P.S my stent is Cobalt blue, nearly 4cm long and made by BMW (yes really)
Myself and my bionic heart will be running some classes again soon.
Do get in touch if you’d like to join.

Hello 😊
I back with news after a much needed social media break.
It’s been a challenging time for so many of us and I’m happy to share with my Angmering friends that I have now secured a space in the main hall at the community centre commencing in October. As some of you may know it has been used as a mass vaccination centre and I don’t think anybody was aware at how long the service would be needed.
Classes will be on a Monday (time to be confirmed) and we will have use of the large, bright and airy main hall, October through to December when hopefully normal service can resume in the New Year 💗
I’ll be focusing on ‘easing yourself back into it’ with our normal Hatha yoga, breathing exercises and meditation.
I’ve been keeping busy working throughout the pandemic in my NHS job and halfway through completing my advanced yoga teacher training (phew).
My Pregnancy yoga classes will be resuming in October too and I am excited to share that I have just completed my specialist pregnancy massage course which I can’t wait to share with all of you lovely mum to be’s out there.
Please get in touch for further details
I can’t wait to see and meet you all again, both old friends and new friends 💕

Just to clarify, I’m not running any pregnancy yoga classes at the moment. I don’t feel it’s appropriate to receive payment for a course that I probably will be unable to fulfil combined with issues around group gatherings and infection control.

Classes will be back when the time is right 😊

As a few of you know I was planning to travel to India next Sunday.
This will not be happening. I have had confirmation from the Indian Embassy today that no Foreign National will be able to enter the country. This will come into effect from 13th March 2020 12.00 GMT and will not be reviewed until 15th April.
As I write this I am aware of the confusion that surrounds us all. I do not know what awaits us but I do know we are all in it together 💕
Classes were due to start back on 19th May.
Let’s just see how things go. I’ll be here taking care of my family and just taking things day by day 💕
Sending love to you all

Our Story

Hello I'm Emma a Senior Yoga Alliance registered and insured Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher. I am also a qualified Midwife and really do believe that yoga is for everybody whatever your age or ability. I am passionate about sharing my love of yoga with you. A lot of people think that a certain amount of flexibility and fitness is required to take part in a yoga class but that’s not true. At my classes you will start with some breathing (Pranayama) exercises, this starts to relax your mind and body in preparation for your class followed by a warm up leading into some sun salutations, standing, balancing, prone postures (asanas) and twists followed by bringing the energy of the class down leading into a blissful guided shavasana and meditation. The benefits of Yoga are numerous: It certainly does improve your flexibility, builds muscle strength, prevents cartilage and joint breakdown, improves bone health, increases your blood flow, lowers blood pressure, boosts your immunity, helps you focus, improves your balance, lowers cortisol levels and makes you happier Fact!

If you don’t try you will never know, I hope that you will find my classes welcoming and encouraging whatever your ability. Yoga is non competitive and if you try a class and don’t like it then please do try a different class. There is such a variety of styles and wonderful teachers who will be ‘just right’ for you.

See you on the mat!

Love Emma.
