The words "Mental health" are extremely important to us here in the funeral home and unfortunately over the years we have been required to care for families who have needed our professional services.

We know that many people in our local community have been hurting over the last few weeks, due to a recent trauma or whether it is something which has happened months or even years ago, we're here.

We want you to know....

Please reach out. Don't fight alone. Don't feel alone. We are NOT trained counsellors but we can be an ear that will listen, we are not here to judge, we just want to help you out of this dark hole and if you need it we will not stop until you receive the professional help you might need.

We are available to chat to 24 hours a day, every day. Please please don't feel so low that you can't reach out to someone.

Please remember:
You are loved
You are valuable
You have more to give

I have had the very difficult task of meeting with families in the hours after "a momentary lapse" in judgement and while farming remains one of our most dangerous industries, we are all guilty of "a momentary lapse" from time to time.

Thinking of all of our farming community over these busy months ahead in the vital work that you carry out for us. Take a minute or two to watch this clip please.

Very well spoken Denis and if your message saves just one life it's so important to be said.

**SAVE £150 OFF ANY FUNERAL PLAN**

We plan for most things in life, like our career path, building or moving home, or a family holiday yet most of us don't want to think about the one thing that will happen to each of us...our own passing.

Even as a Funeral Director I appreciate that it's not a subject we want to think about very much. BUT having sat in front of hundreds of families over the years and see the relief on their faces when they realise that the person they've just lost had every detail of their funeral chosen and paid for, is such a comfort to them and takes so much worry and stress away.

We welcome these conversations at Robinson's. Whether you'd just like to write down a few pointers as to what you'd like to happen or plan every detail, we will take care of you.

SUMMER OFFER
During the months of June, July and August we will be offering a discount of £150 on every funeral plan taken out through our funeral home. To benefit from this offer simply give us a call to arrange a time for you to meet with us in our offices or if you prefer we can meet you in your home.

*As long as you have started to pay towards your funeral plan during this time period you will receive the promotional discount*

Thanks for reading

Are you new to the Randalstown and Antrim areas and would like to meet other people living close by ?

Maybe you have lived in the area for some time but feel alone or isolated ?

Or maybe your mental health could really benefit from meeting and chatting with other people.

Robinson's Funeral Directors would like to start a "Walk and Talk" group in the town where anyone of any age can feel that they can come along for a gentle walk around parts of our beautiful town, you will have the opportunity to meet other people from around the area, and talk about whatever you feel comfortable to talk about.

After our walk is finished, in conjunction with our good neighbours at the Daily Coffee Company, we will come back for a warm cup of tea or coffee and maybe something sweet to eat.

The Coffee Co. New Street Randalstown

Bring yourself along, bring your neighbours and friends and you can even bring your dog! 🙂

When: The first Wednesday of every month (next date 4th June)
Time: 10am
Where: Robinson's Funeral Directors, 22 New Street, Randalstown
