ADHD Life Coaching

ADHD Life Coaching ADHD informed coach with lived experience of the challenges and struggles we face every single day.

Life coaching can cover many topics but one thing that I have a lot of experience in is working with ADHD and Autism. I've worked with neurodiverse adults and also parents whose children and young people also have neurological differences. As an individual with ADHD I have struggled in life; there are some things that are difficult for our ADHD brain. Things such as:

* Sustaining focus and attention on tasks
* Impulsivity and procrastination
* Being very easily distracted
* Prioritising tasks
* Lacking motivation at times where we feel we need it most
* Running out of time to do things
* Or if we do have time, we leave it to the last minute, adding additional pressure
* Poor working memory, forgetting things no matter how important they may be
* Decision making

I can help you see that ADHD does not need to hold you back and could, in-fact, be the driving force in your life. I know from my own experience that the ADHD brain has many strengths too, it's the matter of realising what they are and unleashing their potential. Using proven tools and techniques to suit you as an individual, we find ways to take you forward in life. I can help you improve and succeed at things such as:

* Time management
* Organisational skills
* Attention to detail and tasks
* Motivation and momentum
* Increased working memory and retention skills
* Making the right choices for you

I also work with parents, caregivers and partners of ADHD and autistic individuals. This work can help you gain a better understanding of how things are for your loved one, as well as looking at different ways and means of creating relationships that are more fulfilling for all involved.

I also work with individuals where ADHD/Autism play no part in their lives at all. I do indeed have a niche but am open to enquiries from everyone.

If there was one thing that would have made a difference to me as a parent of a young child displaying neurological differences pre-diagnosis, or with a child post-diagnosis with very little service input (not knowing where to turn), or navigating puberty stages, would have been someone who had been there. Someone who knows what it is like to experience the meltdowns, someone who understands the frustration with lack of services, someone to guide me through the statementing process. Even as adults, neurodiverse individuals need help making decisions or working through the grey areas in life. Help to recognise when to take better care of ourselves and to work out what our needs are and then express them. Help to live in a society that doesn’t always understand neurological differences.
