Thinking of our wonderful colleague Linda today. Whilst thinking of her dad on this very poignant anniversary date she was also out and we were planning for the months ahead. Thats the thing about grief you can be very sad and unsettled one minute and very happy and highly capable the next. It's a funny old thing and catches us all now and then.

This also tells you something about FME - we are all deeply personally impacted by the issues faced by the people we support. It's why we are so passionate about what we do and it's why we try again and again to make the world a little bit easier, more gentle more peaceful. For we don't take any of that for granted.

Happy new year!

What a lovely way to spend this morning with my sister Cailin Murphy and her mothers and others friends from Moneyglass on the final 5k of her 50k sponsored run/walk. Seems fitting that the last leg of Cailin's walk was on the road where baby Amber is laid to rest after all she started all of this shenanigans!
