Little Signers

Little Signers A music, movement and Makaton group for toddlers/ pre-schoolers with their parents/ carers.

I have recently qualified as a primary school teacher and I also have a degree in Childhood and Disability studies. My recent student teaching experience has helped me to develop my Makaton sign knowledge. I have had experience in mainstream, integrated and special schools and I believe that Makaton is useful to build interaction for all children. I am setting up this group to provide a fun session which children and their parents/ carers can play games, sing and dance which will be enhanced with simple Makaton signs.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to run the last session of little signers. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and came to the sessions 😁 I will keep this page to update on signs or sensory ideas 😊 For any help with makaton please feel free to message.

Unfortunately I will not be running little signers anymore. With starting my new job in a job, it is time for me to focus on that. I am going to run a last sensory party a Saturday in July. There won't be a session this Saturday. I will keep you updated. Comment a Saturday that would suit so I can organise a date for majority of you. Thank you for everyone that has came to my sessions. It was lovely to meet you all xx
