It’s nearly that time of year! Who else is excited to breathe in the fresh mountain air? Before you hit the slopes, prep your body to stay injury-free all season long. Now is the perfect time to bullet proof yourself. Follow our top five tips from the LJP family 🤗

✨1️⃣ Build Strength 💪 Focus on your legs, core, and glutes with exercises like squats, lunges, and planks to handle the demands of skiing.

✨2️⃣ Improve Flexibility 🧘‍♀️ Dynamic stretches (like leg swings and hip openers) before skiing improve range of motion and reduce strain. Flexible muscles can help absorb force which in turn will mean you’ll be less likely to get an injury when you bomb out 💥

✨3️⃣ Enhance Balance 🤸🏻‍♀️Practice single-leg exercises, BOSU ball drills, or yoga poses like tree pose to boost stability on uneven terrain or improve your carving skills!
