Practice request:

If you have borrowed a blood pressure monitor from the practice and have finished with it, please return it.
These monitors are shared resources and are in high demand, so returning them allows other patients to benefit from there use.

Thanks kindly in advance 🙏

Medicines Waste in Angus.

Every year, unused medicines place an avoidable financial burden on our local health services. That money that could be redirected into the care, support and services our communities rely on.

We want to understand why medicines go unused, what barriers people face, and how we can make returning medicines easier and more environmentally friendly.

Please share your views in our short survey: https://engage.angus.gov.uk/medicines-waste

Your feedback will help Angus Health & Social Care Partnership improve prescription practices, reduce waste, and invest savings back into frontline services.

Minor Injury Care in Angus.

Work is ongoing to make it easier for people in Angus to access minor injury care closer to home.

Minor injury services will be being delivered through Community Treatment and Care Services (CTACS) across Angus. This means that more care will be available in local community settings. For more complex injuries, including those that need an X-ray, people will continue to be directed to Arbroath Infirmary.

Minor injury care will continue to be provided at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre and is also available in Kirriemuir and Montrose.

There is no change to how you access the service. If you have a minor injury, please call NHS 24 on 111. You’ll be assessed and directed to the right place for your treatment. Please do not attend without an appointment, as this could delay you receiving the right care.

We will continue to share updates as the new model is fully put in place across Angus.
