Arbroath Medical Practice will be closed on Thursday 25th & Friday 26th of December 25 and again on Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd of Janaury 26 for the festive period.
We are open again as normal on Monday 29th December 25 & Monday 5th of January 26 from 8am.
NHS24 will be providing cover over the holiday and can be contacted on 111. Alternatively visit www.nhsinform.scot for further assistance on minor ailments.

You can call your local optician for free NHS eye-care. They will assess the problem and advise you if it is urgent and can refer you directly to the hospital if the problem is more serious.

Please do not turn up to your local optician without an appointment. Outwith opening hours please call NHS 24 on 111.

GP surgeries are closed from 25-28 December and 1-4 January. If you have a non-urgent health issue over the festive holidays, please wait until your GP surgery reopens or contact a local community pharmacy. Pharmacies can provide advice, support and treatment for minor ailments such as a cough, cold or sore throat, stomach complaints, or aches and pains.

www.nhsinform.scot also offers a quick and easy way to find answers to most common health questions, and includes symptom checkers.

If you think you need A&E, but it’s not life-threatening, call NHS 24 on 111 day or night.

If it’s an emergency, you should call 999 or go to A&E. Please do not attend A&E with a problem that you would normally see your GP with. This will allow A&E to concentrate on patients with emergency conditions.
