Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Dundee Carer Centre's Health & Wellbeing Day at the Apex Hotel, offering some well-needed time for unpaid carers to rest, relax and recharge.
It was such a lovely, well-organised event by the Dundee Carers team, and it was wonderful to meet so many dedicated carers who give so much of themselves every day.
A great day enjoyed by therapists and carers alike 💆‍♀️ Thank you for having me!

Hi, I’m Lynsey Pyott, Mum to 2 Beautiful girls Niamh & Eva.

3 fun facts about me:

1️⃣ We went all out on Bravo’s “Boozed Up Brits Abroad” years ago – what an adventure! 😅

2️⃣ Adventure ju**ie alert! I’ve skydived 3 times, bungee jumped (including the Death Drop 5 times), and traveled and explored Australia when I was 20 🌏

3️⃣ I have a totally irrational fear of cats and rats… used to be bats too, but I’ve mostly gotten over them 🤣 Cats, Bats, Rats 🤷‍♀️

These are spinal nerves that branch out from our spine—31 pairs in total: 8 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and 1 coccygeal nerve. Each pair emerges from the spinal cord and serves a specific region of the body.

The main function of these nerves are relay motor commands, sensory input and send signals between the spinal cord and the rest of the body which enables movement, feel & touch sensation, and vital automatic processes like heartbeat and digestion. The human nervous system is truly an evolutionary masterpiece.

This is a gentle specialised manual technique, not a traditional massage, that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system encouraging it to function more effectively.
