✨ Reflecting on 2025 ✨

As we come to the end of 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly meaningful year at Basking Babies Colchester.

This year has been filled with quiet milestones and powerful moments — tiny hands relaxing for the first time, parents gaining confidence, and babies finding calm, connection, and strength through movement and touch. It is a privilege to support families during such an important and tender stage of life 👶🏻👩🏼‍🍼

We are deeply grateful to every parent and carer who placed their trust in us 🫶🏼. Watching your babies grow, develop, and thrive week by week is the heart of everything we do, and it never goes unnoticed how much love and dedication you bring to each session.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. You & your families are the reason Basking Babies exists, and we are honoured to walk alongside you 💕.

We look ahead to 2026, and we are excited to continue supporting babies and their families with care, compassion, and evidence-based practice.

"My baby is too young for a baby massage class..."

It might sound that way - but actually, baby massage is designed to support you right from the very beginning 🫶🏼

In those early weeks, gentle touch helps to settle and soothe your baby as well as building a deeper bond as you both adjust.

Helps to support early development through loving interaction and even ease common newborn niggles like wind and restlessness.

There's no need for your baby to be calm or "class ready" — this is a space for you both to slow down, connect, and feel held.

Tiny newborns are more than welcome in our classes - in fact, it's one of the most beautiful times to begin! 👶🏻 🤰🏽

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas time && enjoying ‘twixmas’ with my little family🎄.
I’ve had to check what the day if a few times already… if you didn’t know it’s Saturday 😂😂!

I am full embracing some time off with the family, playing games, days out & eating all the Christmas goodies.

Tuesdays are for joining us for baby massage or baby yoga, followed by brunch in the most gorgeous setting 😍

Fields Farm isn’t just beautiful this time of year, although the huge christmas tree in the restaurant is perfect backdrop to those festive coffee dates!

Ps - I can highly recommend the ‘Cinnamon Roll Cappuccino’ ☕️!!!
