Driving Change

Driving Change Cross Border Road Safety Project Working in Northern Ireland and the six Border Counties of the Republic of Ireland.

The aim of this EU funded project is to tackle road safety through Intervention and Prevention

• We work with Fire And Rescue Services to provide better casualty care and to improve survival rates. We will achieve this through extrication training and First Aid training to Fire Fighters.
• We work in communities, particularly young people (17 to 25 years old) encouraging them to identify local ro

ad safety issues and to take positive action.

• We raise awareness of the positive work young people are doing to promote the road safety message.

• We recruit and train coaches from within the community especially Fire Fighters to support groups to achieve their aims.
