WOW. Today I went to Adonis Hyperbaric Oxygen and I’m actually blown away 🤯✨

Most people don’t realise how powerful Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is — or how much research (including military) has gone into it.

We only breathe around 21% oxygen daily. Enough to survive… not always enough to heal.
Inside a hyperbaric chamber you breathe 100% oxygen under pressure, which means oxygen dissolves directly into your blood plasma, reaching tissues that normally get very little. Areas that are inflamed, damaged, or starved of oxygen finally get what they need to repair.

This is why HBOT is used medically for burns, infections, non-healing wounds, carbon monoxide poisoning and more.

Hypoxia = low oxygen.
It’s a major factor in chronic illness. Tumours are also known to thrive in low-oxygen environments. Research explores how oxygenation affects the cellular environment, immunity, inflammation, and the body’s repair pathways. Not miracle cures — just physiology.

The military uses HBOT for:
• traumatic brain injury
• wound recovery
• decompression sickness
• physical stress + resilience

When the military invests in something, you know it works.

What I noticed today:
• clearer brain
• lighter body
• boosted energy
• a deep sense of oxygen saturation I’ve never felt before

HBOT benefits:
• improved circulation
• faster tissue repair
• increased stem cells
• reduced inflammation
• enhanced immune function
• better brain + nerve health
• support for fatigue + stress
• cellular detoxification

This is what happens when your body finally gets the oxygen it’s been begging for.

If you’re serious about your health, go follow (on instagram)
For bookings, info, and to experience this therapy yourself — you’ll thank me later.

😅 All jokes aside. I'm proud of myself. You know why?

Because I didn't just graduate.

I graduated with a 2:1 (1.6% off a 1st class honors)

With a 4year old, a 5year old, and a new born baby after giving birth prematurely during my final year whilst writing my dissertation. 💪🏽🤪

For the people who think people like me share on Facebook because we can't get a "Proper job" 😅...

I graduated 12 years ago!

I went on to further study a PGCE and have taught in schools for 8 years.

I have further degree level qualifications in Counselling and Mentoring, ending up specialising in working with children from troubled backgrounds with challenging behavior.

I walked away from it all in 2018 after my son became sick and I never looked back.

Fast forward 7 years and I am a self taught encyclopedia of knowledge (because I LOVE reading and research) when it comes to herbalism, anatomy and physiology and many other aspects of heath, and how herbs interact with different organ systems to help restore homeostasis.

I have since gained qualifications in both Herbalism and Mycology, am insured to practice, and am currently undergoing degree level study in Clinical Herbalism.

I say all this to say...

It’s not that people like me can’t get a regular job.

It’s that we’ve already done it, and then outgrew it.

Some of us chose purpose over payroll.
Calling over comfort.
Legacy over salary.

So don’t let the Facebook posts fool you.
Some of us are qualified FAR beyond what the internet ever sees.

And we’re just getting started. 🌿✨

I have absolutely NO desire to 'fit in'. Like NONE!

Honestly my brain hurts trying to understand the audience who use FB in comparison to IG. 🫠

Instagram gives you critical thinking and engagement.

Facebook gives you people confidently debating things they didn’t understand in the first place.

There is a very clear discrepancy between the generations 🫠

The Matriarch is 55 today 💚

Sandy Louise

Where do I even begin. As tears stream down my face, I just need the world to know how deeply indebted I am to you. You have been my constant. My safety. My rock. My comfort. My voice of reason for all 38 years of my life.

Only after becoming a mother myself, and a grown woman, do I understand the gigantic love, the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the silent prayers, the worry, the strength, the never ending devotion. You have stood by me through sickness and health, through happiness and heartbreak, without judgement, with pure unwavering unconditional love.

I am who I am because of your resilience, guidance and grace. No matter what you have faced in your own life, you never failed to show up for me. You did more than most, with less. You were there every single time I needed you, no questions asked. I look back and I understand now. All of it.

I am sorry for any time in my life I may have hurt you. Knowingly or unknowingly. You deserve the highest respect. You are strong, selfless, nurturing and wise. You are my safe place. My light in every dark moment. The first person I run to with news, no matter how big or small, because if it is important to me, it is important to you.

The children and I love you with every fibre of our being. If I end up being even half the mother and woman you are, I would be proud.

Happy birthday Mummy. I pray your life is long, healthy, abundant and overflowing with love. 💚

When I say cannabis and herbs helped my son manage the harsh effects of chemotherapy… THIS is what I mean.

This isn’t a miracle.
This is what happens when you support the body instead of just attacking it.

They told us he’d end up in intensive care.
They told us he’d need a feeding tube.
They told us “every child on this treatment does.”

Yet here he is, on rollerblades…
through the children’s cancer ward.
Laughing. Moving. LIVING.

No vomiting.
No mucositis.
No brain fog.
No kidney or liver damage.
No depression.
No inability to eat.

Instead, he was active.
He was vibrant.
He was nourished with a clean, mineral-dense, immune-supporting diet.
He was the life and soul of that ward.

We were outdoors, in nature whenever we could.
Walking, travelling, city life, carnival, protests, rollerblading.
He was healing while living.

I worked relentlessly to counteract the effects of the drugs so his body could keep fighting, not collapsing. And when his bloods recovered— they recovered in record time.
His entire transplant process was 44 days.

I share this to show there is another way.
Not to dismiss anyone’s struggle.
Not to claim we “beat the system”.
But to show that when you support the body, the journey doesn’t have to be only sickness, suffering, and dependency.

Sometimes… healing looks like rollerblades in a hospital corridor.

I am still off work at the moment recovering from burnout and still trying to record this video between sneezes but I had absolutely no herbs left. So even though I am meant to be hibernating I had to nip out and get the one thing I knew was going to work.

🌿 Echinacea The Herb That Never Gives Up 🌿

There are herbs and then there are HERBS the kind that carry ancient wisdom immune intelligence and a strength you can feel. Echinacea is one of those herbs.

It does not just boost immunity. It activates your internal defence army. It wakes up your white blood cells strengthens lymphatic flow supports tissue healing and helps your body recognise and fight viral invaders without harming the body in the process.

During my sons stem cell transplant we faced a viral infection that escalated fast. The hospital antivirals were toxic. They began damaging his liver and kidneys and nearly shut his body down completely. That was the moment I turned yet again to nature.

I gave him echinacea and I watched his body respond!!! His viral markers dropped rapidly. His kidneys and liver stabilised. His strength began to return. Because now his body had something working with it not against it.

Not as a miracle. Not as a cure. But as a partner to his biology.

Echinacea does not force the body. It reminds the body. It teaches the body. It protects the body.

It is antiviral. It is anti inflammatory. It supports lymphatic drainage. It stimulates tissue repair. It activates the immune system in a way that builds not breaks.

But beyond the science this herb reminds me of something deeper. It reminds me to trust the wisdom of the body. To trust the wisdom of nature. We are not designed to be at war with ourselves. We are designed to heal.

And sometimes the most powerful medicine is still growing quietly in the soil.

Would you believe me if I told you this is a plant?

This isn’t fried chicken, it’s banana blossom, a beautiful flower from the banana plant, cooked to look and taste just like crispy chicken. 🪷✨

Banana blossom has a naturally flaky, tender texture, making it the perfect plant-based alternative to fish or chicken. It’s rich in fibre, antioxidants, minerals like potassium, iron and magnesium, and supports digestion, hormone balance, and heart health.

It’s also low in calories, gentle on the gut, and completely plant-powered. 🌱

Plant-based eating does not have to be boring. Nature gives us everything, flavour, texture, nutrition, and healing. You just have to know where to look.

Processed fake meats might look like a healthy swap, but many are far from natural or nourishing. Most of these products are highly refined, made in factories using isolated soy proteins, artificial flavourings, additives, thickeners, stabilisers, seed oils, and synthetic vitamins. They are designed to imitate meat in texture, taste, and appearance – but they don’t offer the full spectrum of nutrients that real whole foods or plants provide. Your body doesn’t recognise half the ingredients, and anything the body doesn’t recognise, it treats as a burden. These ultra-processed “plant-based” meats can trigger inflammation, disrupt hormones, strain the liver, and weaken digestion over time. Real plant-based eating isn’t about mimicking junk food – it’s about eating plants, in their natural, vibrant, healing form. 🌱

🧠 Did you know that refined sugar can fuel cancer cells at about 20 times the rate of normal cells? 🍬
Cancer cells have a high demand for energy, and sugar gives them exactly what they need to grow and multiply rapidly. While every cell in your body uses glucose for energy, cancer cells are far more aggressive in taking it up, about 20 times faster!

This is why reducing your intake of processed sugars can be a powerful step toward better health. Stick to natural, whole foods, and nourish your body with what it truly needs! 🌱

Sugar doesn’t just give cancer cells energy, it damages healthy cells, drives oxidative stress, weakens the immune system and creates the perfect acidic environment for inflammation and disease to thrive.

As you can imagine they hated me for challenging them! Can you believe an actual Dr told me that it will make no difference to my sons health on what he ate!!!!!

A family member just sent me this 🙏🏽

8 years ago… my 30th birthday.
A day that should have been a beautiful memory.
But when I look at that photo now, I hardly recognise that woman.

On the outside a forced smile.
On the inside I had just finished crying my eyes out.
My day was sabotaged before it was even 10am. I was meant to go to Alton Towers, but it ended the moment I asked where he had been all night.

That question alone was enough to unleash rage.

It turned into an explosive argument, my birthday cake thrown at me, a dent kicked into my car door.
And then the worst part… sitting in the car for over an hour, looking a mess, begging to just have my children and go home. My children were withheld from me… on my birthday.

That photo captures it. The emptiness in my eyes.
No self worth. No boundaries. Just survival.

I look back with both sadness and compassion.
For the woman who did not know her power yet.
Who confused pain with love.
Who believed she had to tolerate disrespect to keep peace.
Who stayed quiet to keep the family together.
Who thought she was the problem.

Domestic abusers are cowards.
They hide behind victimhood. They give a million excuses for their behaviour but never take responsibility. They say they will change but they will not.

And enablers are just as dangerous.
When I was a child, people knew...
Family members, church members, friends.
But nobody said a word.
Because abusers can be charming.
They cry. They perform. They manipulate.
They smile for the public while we lived in fear. It was a learnt cycle that I will never live again.

Silence protects the abuser.
Silence destroys the victim.

Breaking cycles does not start with anger.
It starts with awareness.
With naming it.
With refusing to excuse it.
With refusing to hide it to protect reputations.

It starts when one woman says
Not my daughter. Not my son. Not me.

I have forgiven that version of me.
But I will never silence her story.
