Thereās a narrative I keep seeing in my commentsā¦
āCannabis causes psychosis.ā
But letās slow that down for a second.
My son has used cannabis since the age of 10, during one of the most intense, life-threatening periods of his life. Not recreationally. Not to escape. But as support. And there has never been a single sign of psychosis.
So we have to start asking better questionsā¦
Is cannabis the problem?
Or is it what weāve done to cannabis?
Because natural, landrace cannabis is not the same as whatās being pushed and engineered today. When you start artificially driving THC levels higher and higher to chase a stronger āhigh,ā youāre no longer dealing with the plant in its original intelligence⦠youāre dealing with a manipulated version of it.
Now layer that with realityā¦
A toxic, processed diet.
Chemically loaded to***co.
Chronic stress.
Unresolved trauma.
Using substances to numb instead of heal.
And then when something surfaces⦠we blame the plant?
What if itās not creating the issueā¦
What if itās revealing whatās already there?
This isnāt about blindly defending cannabis.
Itās about having an honest, deeper conversation.
Context matters.
Source matters.
Intent matters.
Lifestyle matters.
Stop reducing complex human experiences down to one scapegoat.
Letās start looking at the whole picture šæ
